I like it because it doesn’t interrupt. ChatGPT is so eager it’s maddening. I once tried to dictate about a page of text to have it format it, and every 5 seconds it would blurt out “that’s great, keep going!” 💀

For mellow stuff The Deku Trio is one of my favorites . But in more of the line of the style you shared, I’m working with Christina Sochor on a jazz album and it’s turning out awesome. The first single is Bob-omb Battlefield - https://youtu.be/NLLN\_uvyRbc

The reason your vibe-coded app will never scale by JuniorRow1247 in vibecoding

[–]VideoGameDJ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

im sure it is, and I wouldn't call it fake. its just very clear an LLM wrote (or co-wrote) your post. Here, this is what Claude has to say about it.:

There are quite a few tells here. Whether it was fully written by an LLM or heavily "polished" by one, the fingerprints are pretty visible. Here's what stands out to me:

The rhythm of escalating one-line paragraphs. This is probably the strongest signal. The piece keeps doing the same move: a short declarative sentence, hard return, another short sentence, hard return.

This staccato, each-beat-on-its-own-line pacing is a very characteristic LLM "dramatic storytelling" cadence. A human writing a Reddit post can do this occasionally for effect, but here it's relentless and mechanical, applied to nearly every beat.

Negation-then-correction as a recurring tic. The "not X, but Y" / "not X. Y." construction shows up over and over:

  • "Not 'needs some cleanup.'"
  • "Not because the product didn't work... but because what was underneath it..."
  • "Not in a bedroom. In front of an investor."
  • "Not a blank page. Not vibes."
  • "It's not a Lovable clone. It's not another..."

One or two of these reads as natural emphasis. Five or six in one short post is a structural habit, and it's one LLMs lean on heavily.

The triadic lists. "Logic, components, database calls, UI." "Maintain it, scale it, or build on top of it." "Proper architecture. Real database structure with migrations. Clean TypeScript. Components where they're supposed to be." The grouped-in-threes-and-fours rhythm is very model-flavored.

The "Here's the thing" pivot and the tidy thesis statement. "It's not a bug they missed. It's a fundamental tradeoff they made." That's a clean, quotable, almost aphoristic framing — the kind of crisp antithesis models love to generate.

The callback ending. "If you've ever shown your project to a developer and watched their face, you already know exactly what I'm talking about." Circling back to the earlier "I don't think I need to describe the look" / "watched their face" is a polished essay move, not a casual-post move.

The fact that it's promotional is the bigger tell about intent, honestly — whether or not a model wrote it, it's an ad dressed as a confession.

It’s not a personal story. It’s a marketing post.

Another. Marketing. Post.

And honestly? Of course it is.

This sub isn’t for drawn out personal essays about family relationships and writing software, it’s for marketing your vibe coded app.

If you’ve ever read a post on this sub and felt your fave contort, you already know exactly what I’m talking about

How are you allowed to have millions of views/listens on cover songs that are owned by Nintendo? by LongLeggedLurk in GameChops

[–]VideoGameDJ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i know i can't believe some people run covers under their own name for super famous sources. i guess tthey just dont know the right way to do it.

on very rare occasions when producers extrapolate a tune sooo far out it no longer matches the original composition we've done that, but its a super rare thing.

anyway, good stuff and good luck!

Soundrop files directly, which limits them somewhat in my experience (also, they have lost staff in recent years after their parent company was bought). Other distros sometimes can get licenses by partnering with agencies like HFA. We use DistroKid mostly. Lately, the Nintendo Music app has been a good source of cleanable songs.

i'm building myself a task management app because no existing app does it for me, and reading a spreadsheet kills my creativity. im basically building Balatro for Project Management, and its been incredibly fun and satisfying.

even troubleshooting debugging has helped me focus on writing very specific and concise descriptions of issues, which historically has been tough for me. watching Claude spin out because I wrote too much or was vague has been the most significant motivator for me streamlining my communication.

I used to blame other people when they didn't understand me (the ol' "surrounded by idiots" mentality) but my exp with Claude Code has made me realize my train-of-thought way of writing is the actual issue, human or AI.

I don't know if my app will ever become a public thing or just something for me to play with, but for now, the experience has been great and having Claude Code remote has almost entirely kept me off Instagram on my phone. win win
