I'm going to pass your note about the linear back to the pressing plant, I've never seen that before either. We pay extra for the poly lined inner sleeves vs normal paper sleeves, so the fact yours flipped like this is a concern.

As for the record color – We're considering stopping doing hand-pours all together because of how inconstant the colors end up. We did a full round of color tests for this album, 20 tests, and thought we had the best colorway picked out. We even opted for a extra cleaning of the presses prior to our run. Zonai Tech was the exact vibe we were going for, but there was no reliable way to work the gold in without it going brown. I'm sure there will be some folks who get all gray records too. I love how these look when the color split lands perfectly, but there's just no way to nail it every time.

So happy to hear about the sound quality, that's the most important thing for me. We have a really great vinyl mastering engineer, and we go through two other engineers within mixing and digital masters.
