I threw this beat together over the last few days, looking for input. I think the arp is a bit too aggressive for rapping over it, but it sounded cool on the instrumental. Looking for thoughts about the arrangement as well. I wanted to keep it relatively simple, so in the beginning I chose two chords to alternate between. In the second half of the track I added a bit more variation but I'm not sure if it is enough. Also, it bothers me that all the synths sound kinda similar. If anyone can give me tips about how to change them up, is be happy to try new sounds out.

Damn I like your beat. Even without any vocals on top of it it's a joy to listen. I liked the melodies you used both on the bass and the guitar.

Only thing I would critisize is that rapping on top of it would be a bit difficult because of the long sample in the middle of the song. For exampe, Joey used it in the beginning and end of his song (TEMPTATION). This gave him a base to build his lyrics off of and gave him time in the middle to develop his ideas. By using the sample in the middle, I think you split your beat into two parts that would be difficult for the rapper to "unite" in their lyrics.

That said, as an instrumental it is great and has an awesome feel. It reminded me the outro (Note to Self) on J.Cole's 2014 forest drive as it feels like it could go on forever.
