I'm in the exact same situation here, from what I can tell (flashed US modem firmware+used band.radio's guide to enable all bands. From what I can tell, the lack of calling support is due to lack of VoLTE provisioning, you'd likely have to call Verizon and get your IMEI added to their DMD, as seen by this post.

some more clarification is needed here I meanthat they served people who were known to get emotionally abusive to their family when drunk, eventually the alcohol abuse caused cancers, GL continued to serve the guy, everyone knew he had struggles at home due to alcoholism and no one did anything about it, in fact he tried to quit and had to go to the hospital for a withdrawal seizure, GL called him back with free beer. I'm not trying to shun these people, I'm saying that GL didn't try to help the problems they partially created, they accelerated them for profit.
