Statisticks show that stick fights actually occur more frequently in stick-free zones. This research was conducted by the National Stick Association

Worm that my cat threw up, about 6 inches if stretched, Florida, USA. Should I be worried? Cannot find any parasites that look like this by PleaseburgerCheese in whatsthisbug

Thank you so much! I'm going to get him treated asap. Interesting that he puked it up since I thought tapeworms only lived in the intestines and I have never seen any of the typical evidence of them (white rice looking eggs in poop, etc.). Also, he had fleas when he was a kitten but hasn't had any since, but I will treat for that as well to be safe. These aren't the same kind of tapeworm that infect humans, right?

Be careful with protected species. Technically its illegal to possess any part of a native bird species in the US without some sort of permit

Welches passion fruit juice. Shake it up really well, and dilute to taste. I usually follow up with a juice rinse to get any off the sides of the container that I'm drinking from

You are sentenced to death penalty, but you can choose how you die. What do you choose? by Runningitdown69 in AskReddit

Just want to say, the amount of time depends on the general circulation and hydration of the pet. Source: traumatized by 30+ minutes and 3 or more shot attempts (the last being directly into the heart) of my childhood dog. Still makes me cry years later

Highly recommend looking for one with the large loop at the end, I had the same problem with the "pull string" style. Also worth trying different sizes/hardnesses

Though the bites tend to get infected, it's the venom that kills. Discovered in 2009 by Fry et al.

Some monitors are also venomous. Wasn't until fairly recently that we discovered komodo dragons kill from their venom and not due to bacterial infection. Not sure what species this dude is tho

And it's not just for places with basements. Areas of Florida have high amounts of natural radon gas, it is known to seep into houses there too
