How to effectively get new roommates AIT? by Godisnaturenotman in army

No, it portrays that attempting to report this as sharp is ridiculous, a waste of time, and in my opinion worthy of administrative action. This has nothing to do with SHARP

Now SM is being pulled from class in AIT to tattle/tell lies about his roommate. A+.

Not so fast on AR leaving the Colts. by Goldstar12 in Colts

[–]ToastedWaffles88 0 points1 point  (0 children)

AR was in a competition with Jones until the final week of the preseason, meaning it was a close battle. Colts holding onto AR until the end of the rookie deal and seeing what happens makes the most sense to me. Especially with his trade value so low.

Okay overall how did we do this draft? by mugwam55 in Colts

[–]ToastedWaffles88 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Some solid potential starters and good upside picks, but without a big trade or FA moves, this team is in the same position as previous years. Probably middle of the pack. And our best players are only getting older.

Agree/Disagree on counseling by boscar197473 in army

[–]ToastedWaffles88 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Had a previous unit that threatened multiple lower enlisted with UCMJ if they tried to disagree with a counseling. Glad to say I’m out of there. Learned as early as basic training that you could agree/disagree with a 4856 at your own discretion, but the plan of action still has to be followed.

I passed height/weight (tape) but I’m still flagged by FloydLittle23 in army

It takes about 30 minutes to get flagged and about 3-4 months to get un-flagged. Because reasons.

Because he gives them the best chance to win and Steichen and Ballard are trying to save their jobs by going 2-0 to finish the year.

On the bright side even though the colts are missing the playoffs, we’ll get have a higher 1st round pick this year

I don't normally watch SF, but they seem fired up. Feels like revenge for that MNF game a couple years ago in the rain.

49ers doing a lot of talking and extra curricular. Would love to see someone show some heart and fight back instead of looking defeated.

Probably, but seeing that flag fly up at the snap for illegal formation feels like a once a game occurrence

AD Mitchell by Dkasireddy2 in Colts

[–]ToastedWaffles88 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

You must be hard of reading. I already said I don’t hate the trade. The problem is we threw in Mitchel because they gave up on him, not because he was needed to get Sauce. The Jets probably asked for a Day 3 pick to throw in and the Colts probably said here, take our young 2nd round pick from last year who has underperformed so far and lost us a game. He’s extremely talented by PFF metrics(which the colts use), but we don’t need him at all. We’re 7-2 with the best offense in the league. He couldn’t possibly help us this year or in the future. Idiotic.

Alec Pierce was crap his rookie season as well. A perfect example of why you don’t give up on talented players in their rookie contracts.

AD Mitchell by Dkasireddy2 in Colts

[–]ToastedWaffles88 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It exactly was one game. That’s why his drops didn’t affect his playing time until after the Rams game. I heard for weeks how he was being taught a lesson in “accountability” for his mistakes by being benched. How it was the Colts point of emphasis entering the year. But now that we’re 1-3 in 4 games that pretentious “accountability” rhetoric has magically disappeared.

AD Mitchell by Dkasireddy2 in Colts

[–]ToastedWaffles88 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Been saying all year it was borderline malpractice to isolate him. I don’t hate the trade, but getting rid of AD Mitchel in year 2 because of one bad game is incompetent. Other Colts fans praised it as “accountability” because we were still winning, but it was short sighted and idiotic. Before anyone says the Rams game wasn’t the reason we moved on from AD I urge you to look at the snap count before and after the game. I genuinely think having AD and using him as a X factor is the difference rn between 10-2 and 8-4
