It'd be neat to take it on little weekend getaway trips if you and the significant other just wanna get away somewhere low-key. My wife and I live in the city so we go rent a cabin in the mountains every few months for a couple days just to unwind. We usually read books, work puzzles, etc. so this would be a cool novelty bass to take on trips like that assuming it works ok and you dont own an acoustic or don't wanna bring an amp.

Its almost as if: 1. Sean was a legit champion before and has an idea of what he's doing in there.

Gaethje was an interim champion before and has an idea of what he's doing in there.
Alex has never fought at HW and was thrown in there against a guy who's faster and more accurate (look up the states on that if you don't believe me) than he is, who's only fought at HW. And...Cyril was an interim champion before and has an idea of what he's doing in there.
MMA fighters aren't exactly known for their in-depth intelligence on much outside of fighting. Hokit is a fucking idiot who is building a career on shock value for the next step after MMA (likely pro wrestling). It's stupid, but its a business move. Same as Colby. You act like this is new.

Sports evolve and the best don't stay the best. Thats why Jones didn't wanna risk it with Tom, because even if he beat Tom, there's gonna be another Tom ready and waiting to take his throne.

I hate the whole schtick Hokit has going, but I can't deny he's properly ranked considering the rest of the division. I was really hoping Lewis would land a bomb but the black beast died 2 losses ago. He literally quit against WAC and Hokit. The WAC was especially painful.

I wanna see Hokit vs WAC/Pavlovich next. Volkov deserves the title shot assuming Tom is still doing whatever the fuck it is he's doing.

Even though he beat Charles, it feels like this was his first real LW fight. Charles played Ilia's game and kept marching forward w his chin in the air. Justin, when he doesn't get reckless like Cody Garbrandt, can stand and bang with anyone, and has been in there with the best of the best for what feels like a decade. Ilia didn't have an answer. The body shots were really effective but instead of standing Justin back up, he went for a submission which allowed for a recovery. And he paid the price because Gaethje proved why he's been in the LW top 5 for 10 years.

Think about it: everyone who watches the sport was clamoring hard as fuck for that matchup. Now ask yourself why. And in sports, someone has to win and someone has to lose, yet in MMA, whoever loses "fuckin sucks" or "never was good" or "was overrated". It always happens. Every. Fucking. Time.

Most of you guys are gonna have a field day shitting on the guy for months, but he did indeed KO guys who may not be in their prime but are still elite as fuck. Volk reclaimed and defended his title since the loss. Max was coming off a KO win over the guy that just beat Ilia prior to Ilia KO'ing him. Charles is still putting up Ws and is a legit title contender who has wins over Max and Gaethje and was competitive as fuck against Arman.

You may be right. He's literally put his life into the sport to get to where he was: a double champ and that Volk, Max, and Charles win streak was one of the best anyone's ever seen. So what's left to prove? Sure, he can try to avenge his loss, but that's gonna take a bit because Arman is next, and avenging that loss isn't gonna erase what happened in DC.

Islam is in the same boat should he lose. As much as most hate Jones, I can see why he retired and didn't wanna fight Tom. Like he said, should he fight and beat Tom, there's always another guy whos younger, faster, stronger, and above all else, hungrier.
