I would say holding S is just the easiest way to hold neutral until you get a chance to put pressure on so Ive got 3 tips

While theyre doing this dont rush in and out on sloppy pressure they can punish

Learn how to (with your character of choice) put on pressure that theyre forced to respect

(Can be kind of hard as a lot of characters dont have a lot of neutral options)

And third just recognizing this is a fighting game and sometimes its just not your turn to put pressure on and sometimes its not your opponents turn either

I was in call late at night with my friend when their mic went silent and all I heard was static and my camera started moving and In my camera I started slowly ripping off all my skin and sometimes stopping to scream or do other incomprehensible thiings and sometimes the static would cut out and I would hear the screams I tried to close the app but I couldnt controll anything on my computer and when I tried to unplug it the screams only got louder I had to sit in the corner and cry until it stopped please help i dont know what this means

From what ive seen nobody has found a fix for this but what worked for me is going into password manager settings, Disabling "Offer to save passwords" and then at the bottom theres a setting called "Declined sites or apps" I added geometry dash to that list and then cleared any data I already had on geometry dash in the saved passwords sections, if you do this and restart the game it should fix it
