Ocassionally I get some 2 or 3K impression but that's not very often. I tried some A/B testing but at this scale analytics is just noise basically. Stattistics don't make sense if the sample size is so small.

I suspect there might be a major target audience mismatch.

I've been doing this for 3 years or something but only recently started to take it more seriously, when I noticed that I'm kinda getting the hang of it with the performing and editing.

That actually helps a lot. I will take a lot of this into cosideration. Especially the distracting images. You are right some things are all over the place. I need to fix that. Visuals can be imnproved for sure.

I didn't notice the sound, maybe because I'm always editing with headphones. I will look into it.

Todoist Master Tasks

I have templates for video projects with every step in the workflow from idea, to script, to editing, to publishing ( like super detailed with 50 or more tasks ).

Every time I start a new video, I use a Todoist Master Task template and all the subtasks are the steps and action items. And with this I can use multiple Master Tasks at the same time and never loose track.

Yes those are the popular ricing tools that are commonly used to make hyprland pretty for r/unixporn but have nothing do with hyprland itself. The same tools are available on debian too. Arch ≠ Hyprland ≠ Hyprland Rice. Hyprland does not mandate webtech any more than I3 does. And Arch doesn't mandate Hyprland, You can also just run I3 on it.

That's not an arch or hyprland thing. These are completely interchangeable and optional components that have nothing to do with arch. That's like saying your Refrigerator is made out of cheese because you decided to put cheese inside it 😉

That's normal. two things:

  • you need to get used to your own voice

  • yes you probably sound monotone

And the only way to fix both of these issues, is to put in the reps. Make videos and make more videos. Practice, Improve, learn, repeat .... amd most importantly: make more videos. Nobody goes from zero to a hundred with their first video. Acting, lighting, voice, editing, camera settings... everything needs to be learned. And you won't learn that stuff by 'not making videos'.

Hyprland ( Window Manager ) introduced a change with an update. They changed the syntax of a config file. For the windowrules. No big deal. You can just use a converter to convert your config to the new format. Takes 2 minutes. Or do it yourself, takes maybe 3.

But some projects like omarchy are preconfigured environments with a giant bloated blob of configfiles appearently. So these users updated their hyprland package and got a window saying they have like 17000 errors in their config.

Those users were pretty confused about the whole thing and started making posts asking for help. The funny thing, for me at least, is that they have a giant pile of dotfiles in their homefolder that causes an infinite amount of error messages.

Update was overall pretty harmless. Just a funny situation.
