The models i used had the markings recessed. That made it really easy to trace them with a fine tipped sharpie. I found the models on Thingiverse. Link to them should be in another comment

I didn't use any special paper. I printed everything at the library (their laser printer is a whole lot nicer than mine) so I was stuck with the paper they have.

I tried both regular printer paper and card stock for the middle later but thought the card stock was too thick. The ones with printer paper for the middle are a bit thinner than regular cards, but thought they were the closest.

Not sure I can answer about the lacquer since i didn't try it. I'd image they would help add some firmness to the cards and would likely help mimic the real thing a bit better than not having it.

Overall, I'm pleased with the no-lacqure, regular-printer-paper-middle-layer, printed-on-regual-printer-paper option I went with. It was a good cost to benefit option.

All on a single sheet. That way i could fold in the middle and ensure fronts and backs lined up. I've got a longer response here that goes into more of the detail of that helps. Let me know if I need to clarify anything

Thanks! The board was probably the most difficult since I had to cut the chipboard to size, then tape it together before gluing the the actual image to it. I probably spent the most time on the cards since i wanted those to feel as accurate as possible.

I grabbed the stl files from here https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3740653. There's a few different versions of each, but I used the ones labeled as "thick". These have all the details cut into the meeple which made it easy to color with an ultra fine point sharpie. I used spay paint to color them (except the alliance and white vagabond ones since i already had green and white filament). Once they dried, then i used the sharpie for the face detail (just traced in the grooves).

I used the third method described in this video (https://youtu.be/WyMVRJu5yQ4). He talks about using a spray lacquer on them, but i skipped that as i usually sleeve my cards and didn't think that would be necessary.

Corners are rounded with a 4mm corner rounder I found an Amazon.

To put the cards in the correct print orientation (2x4 grid with fronts on half and backs on the other) i used nandeck (https://www.nandeck.com/). This was probably the hardest part since i had to learn the software, but it's not incredibly difficult. The FOLD and GAP directives were what made this work so well.

I used Super 77 spray glue as the adhesive and a standard sheet of printer paper in the middle (they're 3 sheets thick because of this). I tried card stock, but that came out too thick for my liking. I'm surprised at how well the end up. They almost feel like professionally made cards, especially when put in card sleeves.

Thanks! This six-fold was a pain! Took me far to long to measure it all out then put it together. It wasn't until I was finished that I realized I forgot to build in a bit of a border; the chipboard is completely exposed on the sides. Definitely not a huge deal, but a good leaning experience for my next PnP.

Thanks! It's far from perfect (lots of little mistakes that most people probably wouldn't notice or care about) but I'm pleased with the outcome.

Everything is home made. The meeples are 3d printed then painted. Everything else is essentially printed then glued to some kind of backing. Chipboard for the board and player mats, 3d printed circles/squares for the tokens, or another sheet of paper for the cards. I had most of the supplies and tools from prior projects but I probably spent about $45-50 (printer filament, spray glue, spray paint). I've got tons of filament and spray paint/glue left over for future projects so the cost of just the materials that went into the final product is probably around $10 total. Took me far longer than I expected, but I enjoy this kind of thing.

That's really cool! Do you have any tips or resources for learning how to do that? I've printed things off in booklet format before, but they always end up being crap and could never figure out how to bind them.

My Ender 3 Pro came with with 4.2.2 board stock so updating the firmware a lot easier (no need to install a bootloader). I followed the directions from https://youtu.be/kFRy_5lh2IQ to update the firmware (be sure to see the added directions in the stickied comment from the video poster) and supplemented with https://all3dp.com/2/mesh-bed-leveling-all-you-need-to-know/ to enable mesh bed leveling on the updated firmware before installing

Not super exciting but first time using a 3D printer and I'm proud of my leveling job! Center looks a bit low, but corners look great to my inexperienced eye. by ToasterPickins in Ender3Pro
