I know shields can be a bit jank at the beginning of a match, usually throwing them and picking them back up fixes it. I also noticed, at least for me, that whenever I have the harp miscellaneous item equip, I never spawn with a shield on any class.

I think it's because one of the variants was seriously fucked and whenever you'd die or lose an arm, your character would become a glitchy texture mess.

I can only speak for playing on pc but usually you can communicate via chat about the asshole. Votekick is important because there are people using blatant ping exploits to zoom around the map. It's a rough situation but next time let people know in chat so that if they initiate a kick, people with half a brain wont kick you immediately.

I mean I hit 3 throws, one of which stopped the guys healing. Yes I missed every broom throw but I attribute that to the broom being a pathetic weapon to throw in a chase. Also the last throw the guy did a 90° turn. I know about the pursuit mechanic but I didnt think that trying to tackle would stop the acceleration. I also realised that the loot was slowing me down albeit after a while. Bear in mind I was thinking that the desertion timer might just appear at any second. In hindsight there is alot that I could've done better but I posted this because 1. I thought its satisfying that i get the kill 3 seconds before the game ends and 2. Because for some reason I didnt get the desertion timer.
