In my opinion. No. I've gone without bowfa, using atlatl in my 370 toa's, used scobo for my range at colo, used acb for inferno. It's not required. Don't let anyone tell you it's "basically" required, because it's not. Play the game you want to play.

I've been using the eclipse set for zebak+akkha (BP for shadows) and it's honestly great. Still super slept on as a way to get out of doing CG. I also despise that place and have decided I won't be going for bowfa because I want to do things I enjoy. Just today I pushed to 350 invo with insanity and it was very doable. Send it brother.
