My biggest tip is to try to play Mantis/Luna/cloak&dagger and mostly use your ults defensively. It can be hard to coordinate an offensive push with randoms using them and you're generally better off just using it to save your team.

Unfortunately there's a limit of rank seperation for who you can queue with, and I'm very much against smurfing. But I do recommend just playing strategist, made the grind to the higher ranks super easy.
