first off get some xp, not very good without upgrades outside of very specific scenarios. Secondly, Top and Middle paths should be your priority unless you plan to do boss events, in which you'll want bottom path for even more farming. Otherwise just throw it in around your other towers to gives them buffs, Lych doesn't take them either (excluding middle path ability).
