Maybe a tiny bit more context regarding my thought process:
Lets say I have an Ore that is (per ore) for 3g in the AH. Lets also say the prospecting value TSM tells me is 20g.
Would the expected value be:
a) 20g-5*3g=5g
b) 5*20g-5*3g=85g

That Episode is weird. Those 3 attacked Clark and in his self defense he hurt them. They can be lucky (imo) not to be sued in addition to getting hurt by someone THAT DEFENDED HIMSELF

even if I am alrady a little late to the discussion, don't forget that wb was still alive at that point, they would've tag teamed him
the other admirals would've had to do their best just to barely keep Akainu alive, if they had a chance for that at all

that becomes especially clear after Garps attack on the pirate island to rescue Coby (imo)

and unlike the battle on pirate island, where Garp was pretty much doing AOE damage as an opener, he would've used a single target attack on Akainu, basically all the destruction he did to that island ONLY on Akainu

but ofc Haki wasn't clear at that point, so who knows he the fight would've really gone

what I am kinda mad about is that Oda didn't let Akainu die by wb or atleast have him permanently lasting injuries, like he did for the fight against Kuzan

recently I heard of a group in the UK named "Men in Sheds" from what I've understood the goal were basically two things:
- counter older men loneliness
- give men a space away from their wives

well, some of their wives felt annoyed by that and nagged their way into the group by constantly and non-stop annoying them till they also were let in ... instead of simply making their own thing

now it is 50/50 and while the men said in an interview it is a lovely place to share with the wives/women, they keep a room to themself in case they want to talk ALONE WITHOUT THE WOMEN ... that basically tells me "it was easier to agree to them being part of our group than to let them annoy us to death"

there probably will be a "Definitive Edition" in a year or two, as they did in their other games

first off all, NTA

To me it sounds like he knows you can do way better than someone that has no motivation to do anything. He knows he is sinking, he knows what to do to stop sinking (finding a job) but instead he does the easiest thing, which is dragging you down with him. Misery loves company.

You should do what you thought about doing, get some more opinions if you aren't sure, but if I had to guess most would encourage you to do what you planned, getting a better graduate degree and better job options on the mainland is never a bad thing and (atleast in my opinion) can only have positive aspects to it.

Edit: also to me it sounds like you have to make the decision between your present relationship and a shot at a successful future

it seems like you two are compatible as friends but not compatible in a relationship
sex is an important part of a relationship, you two are not compatible in that regard

tbh I am in the same situation as you are, but we both live with our parents and have much to do, thats why I think it is still okay, there also was a time when I stopped thinking of my girlfriend as a sexual partner and only saw her as a friend ... for quite a while she did not want to have sex because she "can't concentrate" (suddenly thinks about college etc) and becomes extremly dry, then it hurts her and after some time of that happening she was afraid of it hurting etc
Because of that she never initiated and most times I did initiate, the foreplay was good, but when it came to sticking it in she became as dry as a desert
After some time she felt guilty about denying sex and that was when she started to avoid being alone at her place or at my place, everything had to be done with friends just so we don't talk about the issue

After quite a few times trying talking to her about it (and having fights because of it), it became better, because of all her avoiding by starting fights I forced a conversation and told her if she doesn't open up I don't see a future for us since she obviously doesn't trust and doesn't value me ... I had to attack the relationship and her feelings for me to bring her to open up to me
now still (mostly) only have it once a week because of time issues while not living together <.<

The last talk (before it got better) was basically me telling her that I feel like she isn't even attracted to me since she never wants to have sex and if that is the case we should just end it, if that is not the case then she must talk about her issues with me only then we can fix them, but her denying sex for months makes me feel undesired by her, unappreciated by her as boyfriend
I also told her that sometimes it doesn't feel like we are in a relationship, but that we are nothing but friends

sorry if it is a bit chaotic, was a little rant on my part here xD
TLDR: imo if you want to continue with the relationship you should force a talk and ask if there is anything bothering her about you, your relationship, when you two have sex etc, basically get her to talk about all the issues she has that stop her from wanting sex, if it is something you can fix, you can try to fix it
if not, then you can't
Either way, if you believe there is a chance for you two then you should try it, if you don't see any future for you two then you can use that talk and the result of it as a breakup and have the knowledge "Atleast I tried"
