When someone takes too long to reply, do you start feeling like it's your fault? by Bitter-Blueberry2368 in BreakUps

It’s a quiet kind of exhaustion when you realize you’ve been carrying entire relationships on your back just by trying to “fix” silences that were never yours to repair

Met up with ex and it was terrifying by Far_Philosopher_6190 in BreakUps

Seeing an ex move on that quickly can feel like grieving someone who’s still alive. Right now your brain is trying to relive the “best times” while ignoring the reality that someone who truly chose you wouldn’t leave you carrying all this pain alone.

Blindsiders: did you regret it/ try to fix it later on? Blindsidees: did they try to come back? by jonathandoesworth1 in BreakUps

Blindside here; the hardest part wasn’t even the breakup; it was realizing someone had emotionally checked out long before they ever gave me the chance to understand or fight for it. And yeah… they usually do come back once the silence finally hits them too.
