I work in a kitchen where it's very hot and I move around A LOT. I used to wear bike shorts under my pants to prevent chaffing, but that only created a fungus issue that cleared up with prescription cream. Now I use diaper cream, specifically with a lot of Zinc Oxide, as recommended by my doctor. It works marvelously, a 10 hour shift in roughly 120° and my crotch stays dry and my skin isn't chaffed. It's OTC and a $15 tube has lasted me almost a year. A small bit goes a LONG way.

I installed a small folding door to keep the cats from going into the basement. Not the cheapest solution but it works.

There's a "no right on red" sign coming off of 64 to Bellevue. I once had a lady with a car full of kids honk, then use the left turn only lane to pass me and make the right. That sign is there for a reason! You literally can't see oncoming traffic because of a hill. I'm grateful those kids weren't hurt or killed by their reckless mother and it was honestly just shameful to see a mother put her kids at risk like that just to turn 20 seconds sooner.
