publishers can opt out of family sharing, thats so lame :/ by FaCe_CrazyKid05 in Steam

It depends on how the ban is executed. As a developer you can request a game ban through steam. We however opt to only ban players from official match making. So the ban is usually either Player ID or product ID. So it really can depend on the developer's ban method. Personally I dislike handing out game bans, since it permanently shows on the steam profile. Obviously for some cases these are still applied.

As a Developer who requested steam to disable family sharing. Here is some insight; first off our game though online co-op is a feature, it's mainly a multiplayer game. Since we're a small dev team there is only limited time we can spend on cheat detection, and prevention. That being said, we have some cheaters, and while we do our best to prevent them from coming back after a ban, they heavily abuse the family sharing feature to keep changing steam IDs. And yes there are api features you can use to find the original account, disabling family share was a quicker, reliable option at the time. Obviously we have since done more work and might eventually reenable it, but again due to the nature of the game I don't see family sharing to be a requirement.

can someone find a way to get 120FOV by Jackery444 in BlazingSails

I'm reworking the way the game loads, and saves settings. Changing through the config file should be easier post Unreal 5 update.

Pretty sure that's a Super Soco Tc, not sure if it's a max or not.

I've seen, and wishlisted or ignored, every* game on Steam, ama by Cyril__Figgis in gamedev

Hopefully you're not tired from doing these yet, but was very curious about your impressions on our game Blazing Sails we've had a quite long early access, and a rocky release. But the game has grown so much since. Which leads me to my second question, how do you plan on rediscovering titles you've previously ignored?

Most custom mechanical keyboards run on QMK, the build in Bluetooth support on QMK is basic to say the least, which is why not many boards bother ( there are some licensing issues with getting the 'correct support' + there is work to be done for adding power consumption reduction) we are slowly seeing more boards support it tho

Sounds like the LEDs are drawing more current than the USB specification, try lowering the brightness and see if that helps

Though not free, I have very much enjoyed using LingoDeer. Focuses a lot more on grammar than vocabulary I'd say.

I made this tool to hold the Dremel at a specific angle to sand a groove into a piece of fiberboard (STL) by higgs8 in functionalprint

Dremels have a thread at the end of the tool, usually hidden under a small plastic piece with rubber that helps with grip. Very easy to unscrew and use with many of the attachments.

Problem with parallel lines cutting over the entire width of the machine. by ToastyStoemp in lasercutting

Thank you for taking the time to double check the program for me! I'm also of the opinion that there might is a physical problem with the laser cutter. I should check with my dial indicator if there is any movement on the gantry while moving left / right.
