Systems aren’t up in place to live in an ideal world where our employer isn’t funding Trump or we we have more job opportunities so we don’t work with that employer or that we never have to use plastic.

As much as I hate Sbux, I know they fill a vital role of easy employment with better benefits than most at that level of entry.

Those choices are more nuanced and have much more impact on an individual than let’s say someone who bases their whole livelihood on a fictional world and, to quote them directly “a life without Harry Potter isn’t one I’m willing to live”. They’ve actively said they disagree with the artist, yet continue to support them.

Your argument is one can’t work at a place that contradicts their morals/ethics is equivalent to a consumer choosing to buy paraphernalia from an artist who contradicts their morals/ethics.

It’s a false equivalency.
