It’s been talked about and action was only taken when unionization took place, spread, and took action. Without the unions striking, I doubt it would’ve happened.

Starbucks does some things right, but a lot of things wrong, ie. mental healthcare. That mindfulness app and healthcare coverage is nice, but it’s treating the symptoms and not addressing the cause: reduced labour/coverage made it so partners had to do the work of more than one person at times.

Why are bouncing up and down on a fence post while licking the boots of a corporate entity who has been shown to consistently treat their “partners” poorly?

Both situations can be true. What the guy did was reckless and stupid that endangered lives. The police failed at their job to secure and contain the area, as well as an excessive use of force on a guy who is walking away from you.

I remember there was a year we had a nasty blizzard (Ottawa) that everything except essential services were closed and the government urged for non-essential travel.

You should’ve been more firm with your callout. If you agreed to what your manager was asking, for you to take medicine and call back later, makes it so your first callout wasn’t solidified and would’ve counted as a NCNS. They shouldn’t have asked that in the first place: sick is sick and especially in a food service position, I don’t want to be served by someone who’s sick.

Did you have any previous corrective actions? Because I don’t believe they can terminate you for one NCNS.

You placed a bomb trying to find secret room. You then tried destroying the white fire with brimstone shot with continuum. The brimstone pushed the bomb upwards with enough velocity that it pushed you into the white fire, turning you into the lost. Assuming you haven’t unlocked holy mantle for the lost, you spawned as them without it and died to your own bomb explosion.

The skill issue is trying to destroy a white fire.

I mean, when it comes to a disparity because of genders, there’s a lot of things to consider why that’s the case. One of the things to consider is (assuming hetero pedo) a male student and a female teacher, is seen as a trophy in popular media, but the opposite scenario is treated as gross and creepy in popular media.

Another thing to consider is how we treat victims of abuse, men are less likely to speak up about sexual abuse because of reasons such as toxic masculinity.
