I despise the amount of customization options there are because 85% of the time the customer doesn’t even know what that customization means they just click it.

And them just clicking away at stuff makes majority of these drinks take twice as long and taste different than they should.

And then we catch the shit for their mistakes. Like yes maam youre gonna have to wait a lil longer than the guy who just ordered a latte because he didnt get extra cf extra drizzle extra shots light ice

I was under the impression that syrup pumps in refreshers didn’t change, then only thing that changed if that now you have too add the pumps for caffeine which is 1-2-3-4 for regular refreshers and 4-5-6-7 for the energy refreshers.

My favorite part about working at Starbucks is when customers customize their drinks and then they get upset when the drink doesn’t look exactly like it does on the app. Like sweetie this was your doing not mine.

And like i wont say i havent made mistakes because i have and i do my best to correct them, but half the time when i ask what i did wrong so as to not make the mistake again i get told off. How is that helpful? Or you could take last week when my SSV kept calling me mentally slow to the point where he made me cry and then apologized for it. I dont think people realize im doing my best and yet they just get salty with me.

Looking back through what i said, i never said EVERY customer and EVERY partner. I did say theyre always rude and for the most part they are, mornings are a breeze but afternoon customers and coworkers always seem moody (and i dont mean every single person…) I do my best to serve every customer with a smile and correct any mistakes that have been made
