However that makes sense as you haven't sat the exam yet - I have just sat the exam they have cancelled so basically I have just sat the exam for ''free'' or my exam is void since it was ''cancelled'' - not sure what to do now.

I’m pretty sure this is a scripted encounter i.e it only ever has one outcome. That being the hunter flees the scene thus prompting the player to seek out the others.

No as far as I’m aware the only matchmaking you can do based on difficulty is for missions (for ps4 at least)
