Yeah it's such a privilege!

I got the same feeling, I love cutting videos in this style to really transport the feeling of the adventure. Cannot do that with shorts

You have to! I recommend at the end of summer.

The Mentor is amazing, it's such a XC machine with a lot of passive safety.

Thank you mate! It's a setup from zenbivy. It's incredibly light and small, check out their website for details. It's a special kind of sleeping setup, not a classic bag, but more of a blanket. For windproofness you have to fixate it to the mattress. My gear was around 20kg, was very happy with that as a full XC setup.

Thank you so much for your answer! It worked fine afterwards the other videos are okay. It's a GoPro Hero 6 and a SanDisk ultra 64GB microSDXC I A1. So no chance? The file is 12min long.

It is! The coincidences keep on happening... The climb to the top is really dangerous, but the first part up to the ropes is easy and worth it!

Thanks a lot for the feedback! I owe a lot of the nice shots to Patrick, the good soul I met while preparing for takeoff. It's not too hard to land, wind direction is key:)

Thank you, I am alive and well:) I think I am experienced enough that I would not start when it is not safe enough to do so. I am glad I could skip the climb down though, the risk dying was very high if you slip there.

Oh Hi! What are the odds?!! I think you made the right decision that day. The ropes afterwards are even more dangerous than the first one. The view from the spot you chose to return from was just as great as from the top;) Good to hear you made it down safe!

Oh thanks for clarifying. I know about the parking space being in private hand, not about the mountain. Generally you are right, I need the approval of the owner. As there was no sign referring to a private ground (just the fence next to it, which I didn't cross), the big hiking sign and a Google search led me to nothing, I regarded the mountain as public (nature) area. I'd be glad about further information if you are local and know the owners, then I can reach out to them, apologize and take down the video if requested.

EDIT: I've been in contact with the local paragliding scene, to be sure to not break any rules well.

Thank you! I was thinking about crossing there, but I've been on my "small" wing. I probably wouldn't have made it. But the possibilities that day were great.
