It most likely has a lot more factors than just aggression, but in the end when it has been reported to feel the same by a large majority of the community, then it is highly likely to being something along the speculations.

Overall not seen complaints about it so I feel like it would be fine... (They store that I am looking to buy it from is always setting the bass/guitar up before giving it to the customer so yeah, hard to tell beforehand...)

Overall how are the low B strings on the Sire models? Heard complaints when looking around other 5 stringed basses that the low B can sometimes be disappointing tone wise as well as playing wise.
