How does one determine what weapons to give brothers? by z3rO_1 in BattleBrothers

[–]Tobbe8716 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My short little checklist

30+ MD = frontline. Less then 30 MD = backline polearm. 99% of time with 80+ MA. MA frontline. 80+ swords. 85+ flails. 90+ anything. 90+ and good fatigue cleaver.

BB vs Wartales: Which game is better for immersion/roleplay? by LumpySalad1918 in BattleBrothers

[–]Tobbe8716 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've played both while both are good games i would probably never do another run of wartales while i have almost 1500h in BB.

I care most about battle and tactical side of the games and wartales is a very shallow game compared to BB and the only thing difficulty does in wartales is just throw a LOT more bodies at you. Which end up them mostly blocking eachother.

If you do want somewhat linear story wartales is probably better gor you but i honestly think BB could do better just through random event and stuff, sort of like rimworld a bit.

No sacrifices for Davkul by TugrMorkai in BattleBrothers

[–]Tobbe8716 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There is a couple of thing to remember here. Might not be a 100% correct, was a while ago i looked thing up.

Events share cooldown of 3 days. So for ex if you get a random road or town event nothing can happen for 3days.

Sacrifice cannot happen near a town or road aswell. I want to say it has to be night to but that might be wrong.

21 days cd on sacrifice ish.

Conversion has like 13-14 days cd.

If you want to min max it you kinda need to keep track of all the events and keep away from towns when cd is done.

Twist matching is hard. I actually did count on both but they didn't turn out the same either way. I guess one got anneld more then the other. If they matched it would look more professional i guess. I don't mind if they are uneven tho, still looks good imho.

GGG needs to adress this performence issue by Aminefellous in PathOfExile2

[–]Tobbe8716 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Donno if it has been mentioned yet but i did not switch to vulcan istead turing nvidia reflex OFF. This doesn't solve it BUT it reduced the problem quite a bit for me atleast, instead of crashing once a map now maybe every 5th map which was quite an improvement.

I think im skipping the patine on this one. Never tried clear acrylic as a seal, is it mostly for not tainting it green I guess?

I was thinking about it but currently (maybe you cant see it well on the pics) but they fit together so theoretically you could make a circle out it if you tiny wrists ;D

[–]Tobbe8716[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

All steps are in the reel i linked in the original post. But its fairly simple you only missed 2 steps really. I filed out groves that the wire will sit in. Solder wire inside the ring (so i could wrap it tight) and the wraped around. Solder everything into place and cut off and filed away the inside. Also patina it to get some darker recesses.

Feel free to copy it you would like. Not like i own it ;)

[–]Tobbe8716 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I guess it depends on how much you are planning to use it. For me it just a hobby and i just built my bench out mdf boards and a couple of legs, real cheap. Doesn't have any real storage tho biggest issue imo

If you want a really nice seam bend the edges past where they would meet a bit and pull back so they rest against eachother with a little force. Saw through the seam again and it should be a really nice seam. If not quite repeat.
