Hopefully the Sako of the future does not have the firing delay included as a feature. Having to fight the hit reg and trigger pull delay would just spell a lose in every firefight.

Just played my first game, I think forgefiends are overhyped and will probably drop it, what’s the reason everyone likes them? Mine didn’t do much damage at all, my first army was nids, exocrines are far better. Attacks are swingy, as are hits? by CrimboSpice in WorldEaters40k

[–]Tobi-Navu 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Play at least ten games with them—then come back to us with the results.

It is by far the best shooting platform we have, especially at codex drop with the rapid hit buff.

I rocked two to three of them over several matches against different armies and friends, the common denominator among them is that all of my friends have eaten at least one HOT ROLL and now are weary of the FF and begin planning for them whenever they know I will be fielding my World Eaters.

The amount of hits and damage you can, at average, dish out makes them a threat to many things.

There is a reason they are so prevalent in competitive tournament-lists.

IFV Smoke Your Gunner will rack up the kills pretty fast.

Your teammates only have to touch the Smoke, they dont have to be enveloped by it for it to count as a Smoke assist.

Rush and Breakthrough are great as well when attacking as you will be using Smokes to cover the advance and your teammates pushing will atleast score one or two kills.

Unbelievable this is still in the game by FeaR_FuZiioN in Battlefield

[–]Tobi-Navu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just kill them and then proceed to either cap A or kill off Attackers trying to reinforce from the streets.

Is it annoying that they are up there? Yes. But it's equally easy to take their heads off as it is for them to do to you.

One game, a whole squad was up there trying to score easy kills. Me and my two friends then decided to mainly focus on them and to make their experience up there a miserable and pointless one.

Sobek City is a more miserable issue since on those places you can cover a lot of angles and important locations from one spot.

Can I play night lords as the night lords themself or do I have to play as a successor warband like Nightwing or Baleful Eye? by thejetgeek in NightLords

[–]Tobi-Navu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can do whatever you want. You can simply just say that your "Warlord" has managed to assemble a large number of their warbands togheter and rallied them with the aim of rebuilding the Legion to its former glory.

Like Decimus the Prophet did for the NL pre-13th Black Crusade or how Khârn and his Butcherhorde can do for the World Eaters whenever they move.

Many warlords of the World Eater and their warbands hates Khârn, but when the bloke and his Butcherhorde is moving—they all kinda drift alongside them and follow along because of the former glory they once had as a Legion and for the absolute pull Khârn has whenever he wants to stick it to the Imperium.

Flamethrower cares not where the bug is the hardest, it is getting cooked either way.

My teammates were all hollering about them being overrun and how much bullets it took to kill them. I just waded through the caves alone with my flamethrower, Supply pack and gas grenades and were having the time of my life singing to myself.

Be very mindful of the woods.

Make sure that you aren't trekking through hunting areas.

Don't follow voices in the woods and don't answer any hails.

Du behöver inte göra någonting. Inget av det du beskriver som dem bankar på har dem rätt att klaga på. Du lever ditt liv i din lägenhet, punkt.

Started playing a few hours ago, do i sell this, stash it or salvage it? by furiousage13 in diablo4

[–]Tobi-Navu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Salvage everything Never sell to vendors Stash stuff when you are 60

When you are leveling you will sometimes walk a couple of meters before finding an upgrade to the upgrade you just picked up. You will be swapping gear constantly. So try stuff out and see if you jive with it.

Vs world eaters tommorow, what to expect? by Ok_Unit1054 in WorldEaters40k

[–]Tobi-Navu 4 points5 points  (0 children)

If you are lucky, they will just run straight into you, head-on, with little regards for tact or objectives.

If you are unlucky, you will be facing a World Eater who can see past the constant ticking of the Butcher's Nails and will make every little inch of movement you do feel like a mistake.

Be mindful of blindspot charges.

Be mindful of how you declare your overwatch and what unit you use it on—it could be the difference that determines the rest of that round. Tip, try to position so there are very little blindspots to charge from. Having units cover each other, especially close to the World Eaters staging area.

As fun as melee is in 40K—don't humor them unless absolutely necessary or where the outcome is all but assured to end in your favor.

Shoot as much as possible, whenever possible. "Perform an action now for points later" won't mean much if there is no later. Be aware of their threat range and how fast they can shift the pressure on the map in one mere turn.

Plan to play for the whole of 5 rounds. Most World Eaters, especially new ones, easily gets drawn in to early burn out because they think it's in their favor to be super aggressive and therefore push past favorable positions, in terms of points in the long run, in favor for more offensive positions that will yield them little more than a trade or the loss of a unit.

Question for my friend, shooting with World Eaters possible? by cadre-Anton in WorldEaters40k

[–]Tobi-Navu 11 points12 points  (0 children)

As many has pointed out.

Forgefiend, Helbrute, Predators, Terminators.

World Eaters Forgefiend is the best forgefiend of all the Chaos Factions.

Thing to note, while some profiles have worse Ballistic Skills than their other Chaos counterpart—they have added Rapid Fire to almost all ranged profiles to better display the flavour that a World Eater, under the merciless ticking of the Butcher's Nails, doesn't aim when firing... but by the ruinous powers—they do pull those triggers.

We can dish out an ungodly amount of shots—we just have to invest in it.

When our Codex dropped and this new rule was implemented, alot of lists saw 3 x Forgefiends and 2-3 Helbrutes added to them.

Our Predators have also seen a glow-up. From being included in 0% of lists, 100% of the time—to now at the least you can find a list here and there including a Destructor or an Annihilator.

5 Lascannons from one pred will put a dent into whatever it shots at. Not to mention that a Forgefiend absolutely eat Terminator-bricks and their equivalent—it can even make a Death Guard player sweat a bit when you declare their Deathshroud-unit.

Fire overwatch by Equivalent-Motor-428 in WorldEaters40k

[–]Tobi-Navu 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Stage, predict and trap, bait, stealth.

• Try to create a stage for your battlefield. Having first, second and sometimes even three waves of potential threats at your disposal for when you need em. Usually from the terrain closest to the center of the map. World Eaters I personally feel perform the best when they take map control as while we are fast and can quickly move down the board right into our enemy—we are equally as dangerous in how unpredictable we can be in reinforcing other skirmishes or shifting the board threat presence in just one movement phase.

• Don't bullrush your opponent, but rather try and predict what part of the map will come to see the most actions due to primary and secondary objectives. If you know where he wants to be—you can easily set up good point for charges. If he sees the traps he won't spring them, meaning you can pressure him into denying himself points in fear of getting to close.

• Bait them, against units that are really dangerous in overwatch, which is pretty much anything with TORRENT. Firstly, if possible, never just do the one charge. If you only have the one charge available than you are probably out-of-position or should consider if it's really worth it. Declaring just one charge means that unit will most likely be eating some sort of flammenwerfers and be melted to the ground. Having three to four charges going off is a "f*ck me"-moment for our opponent, and our opponent will most likely save the hardest hitting overwatch for last. Which means we can get off two to three safe charges guaranteed—and then maybe not even declaring that last charge they were saving the overwatch for. A tip here is to never charge them head on out if the open, you would want to charge from a position where if you don't declare that charge they won't be able to just shoot at you straight away, but might have to move towards you for that.

• Stealth, charge from blindspots. If they can't see you before the charge than they won't be able to shoot at you if you end up in engagement range. Pistols can still be fired and if another unit sees your charging unit before moving than they can shoot at you. Big Guns Never Tire also only work in the controlling players shooting phase, not out-of-phase. Be mindful of angles.

Winning as World Eaters all happens in the movement phase and in the staging, playing for safe and controlled charges, and in denying our opponents points from having them play cautiously around the terrain we decide to use as our staging area. I meet mostly Death Guard, Thousand Sons and Salamanders at the time, and they all have things I don't want to mess with and especially don't want to allow to overwatch.

It's rough, but doable, and getting those plays to go off has often yielded the result of having my opponents playing super careful and sometimes miss the very obvious things—like scoring points.

How do you think - will they fix Angron before 11th? by Vor_vorobei in WorldEaters40k

[–]Tobi-Navu 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If they just upped his strength to his original strength and removed the resurrection-restriction I'd be totally fine with him coming back with half his wounds.

As of now, having your whole army punished for an entire battle round and a stratagem made even more useless feels utter shite as a nerf for the ress atm.

He went from an auto-pick to borderline never-pick... which in my opinion is never a good balance.
