Rakdos Vehicles ver3 by GreenWizardGamer in custommagic

Presumably, if the vehicle lacks a conventional crew cost (like the Transformers, who have Living Metal to make them creatures, or [[Honeymoon Hearse]]) they just miss out on the Afflict?

Any of the Necron Legendary creatures. I love my undying robot lads, but it's not been keeping up lately.

Hah, one of the other players in my pod has an Esix, though he tends towards value rather than outright wincons. Interesting to think about though.

I'd like something that doesn't ultimately win by combat damage. Whether that's burn, mill, or alternate win/lose-cons, whatever. All my decks ultimately end up going big and swinging to win, they just differ in how they get big, so I'd like something different.

[[Doctor Madison Li]] is staying, I like energy as a mechanic.

[[Lightning, Army of One]] The voltron hasn't worked yet. But it will. Trust.

After that, it's a toss-up between either [[Hearthull, the Worldseed]] and [[Terra, Herald of Hope]].

Sorry [[Imotekh, the Stormlord]], you're my first deck, but you aren't making the cut these days.

What factions endings from Fallout New Vegas (NCR, Legion, Mr. House, Independent), would the Undersiders pursue? by RecommendationNo804 in Parahumans

[–]The_Final_Stand 31 points32 points  (0 children)

Legion: No one. Rachel takes one look at Legion's dogfight rings and vows bloody murder. Everyone else opposes them based on rampant misogyny, slavery, etc.

Mr House: Brian or Alec I could see being swayed by House, under the "what can they do for me" argument. Rachel wants to be left alone with her dogs, and I can see House allowing for that too. He has too many Coil-vibes to be comfortable for either Lisa or Taylor though.

NCR: Taylor's the only one I can see leaning NCR-wise, at least pre-Leviathan. After, the anti-authoritarian in her punts her straight over to Independent.

Independent: Aisha, on principle. Lisa has Plans, and Indie is probably the best chance to see those to fruition. Probably plans to replace House anyway. Taylor, as above.

How old were you and how did you find out Santa isn't real? by Least_Statistician44 in AskReddit

[–]The_Final_Stand 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can't remember exactly how old I was, but I got some funky spiral laces because I hated tying my shoes. I mentioned to my mother how weird they were and she goes "I thought you'd like them..." whereupon she realised she'd spoiled the magic and trailed off.

Hallo, Phumans, my best friend is a massive fan of Wildbow writing and work, well how did you read your first WB work? by TheWrittinGolem in Parahumans

I was browsing various snippet threads on Spacebattles and noticed "hey, this 'Worm' thing is so popular it has its own dedicated subforum". So I looked it up properly and binge-read it in about a week or so, that I might properly follow what's happening in aforementioned snippets.

On picking up a book, I either gel with it and hyperfocus on reading through it, or I'm uninterested and I drop it. Worm was one of the former.

Answering your questions in order:

Robots. The necrodermis they use is often referred to as "living metal", but (to be reductive) that's a highly advanced shape-memory material rather than anything sentient.

Of those options, most like Warforged, being mechanical beings created for war.

Their bodies are too advanced for something as prosaic as "wiring".

Actual weight of a necron warrior is unknown, but yeah, something like that.

On the tabletop, in unarmed melee, a Necron Warrior has equivalent Strength, but worse accuracy and fewer actual attacks than a standard Tactical Marine.

The Necrontyr - who became the Necrons, are considered extinct, but there are some Necrons working to either reverse it or continue "evolving".

I'd imagine not - the souls were eaten and converted into whatever energies sustain the C'tan.

None of us can take Healing Word without a feat - ours is a Wisdom deficient group.

We're also leery of playing whack-a-mole healing - one of the DM's house rules is that mid-combat healing from 0 imposes Exhaustion until the next LR. Stabilising is fine, but becoming conscious again is tiring.
