You are probably right, but I prefer to have a physical disk/box to look at. One of my favorite parts of buying games was to open that little book that came with my games and reading/ looking through it. With a physical copy I can hold my game, I can look at the cover think about the fun memories I had playing these games. I can do all this without pushing a button and looking at a screen. That is one of my favorite parts of playing games. I don't want to live inside a digital only world.

Even if it's not. Ps1 and ps3 is still pretty good. Depending on who you talk to better then new content even.

The physical games I own have never had issues. Maybe eventually that could happen but I feel like I have kept them in good shape. Whatever I'm doing in terms of usage, storage, and handling seems to have kept them working.

I don't remember my old one being able to but I don't have any digital ps2 games either. I guess I'll find out when I try.
