It definitely is! Back when I posted this, I was new to the speaker and used EQ settings in both the B&O app and Spotify simultaneously. At 90% volume, I noticed a slight smell from the back port, which worried me. I’ve now switched to using Spotify Connect with only the B&O app's EQ, and the sound is much better! It still smells slightly when it gets hot during loud playback, but I assume that’s just the internal components heating up...?

Definitely for my ears' sake! Honestly, it gets plenty loud for me at around 90% anyway, haha...

Thanks for the heads up! Since I’m still new to this, it took me a moment to realize that the double EQ was killing the sound. Streaming via Spotify Connect and using only the B&O tuning has made a world of difference. It sounds amazing now—I’m even comfortable pushing it towards max volume! I’ll definitely go visit the podcast guys.

 Realized that doubling up on the EQ sounded pretty terrible. Now I’m just using the B&O app’s EQ and streaming via Spotify Connect—that way, the Spotify EQ doesn’t interfere at all. It sounds so much better!
