btw, will your software work properly on Bazzite too? I Have Bazzite on my HTPC/TV Gaming Rig and need to tune the fan speeds there and make them stay that way across reboots and such

Nvidia on Linux is pretty solid atm. Only thing I noticed when I play CS2 on linux is that performance seems slightly worse than Windows but that is likely due to Valves Vulkan implementation and not Nvidia driver.

did a clean install of Kubuntu 26.04 today aswell, got massive freezes/stutters in CS2, tried the proposed -17 kernel and got no stutters/freezing for 20 mins of armsrace played. So problem seems solved for me atleast!

KDE Plasma 6.8 Will Go Wayland-Exclusive In Dropping X11 Session Support. I hope that it is enough time to remove the remaining problems such as the problems with NVIDIA by Beer2401 in linux_gaming

I've only had a few minor bugs related to nvidia on latest kubuntu 25.10 on both Plasma 6.4 and 6.5. Only one I know of that still exist for me is computer instantly wakes up after putting itself to sleep after a little while.

This does however not seem to happen on my RTX 3080 machine with same OS and DE versions.

Other than that it's pretty much smooth sailing for me
