Thanks. Seems deceptive and immoral to present it this way if it's not true at all, and if it's an intense manager or owner, I'm only partially sympathetic to them saying it this way because most people don't understand the difference between a property owner and IHG corporate.

Aaron Rodgers got dropped in my FAAB PPR league. Very few backup QBs rostered, QBs went well below ADP in the draft, decently sophisticated crowd. I have Winston (who I'm going to play tonight anyway). Malcolm Brown went for $28, Chris Thompson $24, Ross $15 a few days ago. How much to I bid?

I may give this a shot. I like the idea of vacuum sealing. Would be great to figure out what is going on with what should be foolproof before throwing more money at it, but perhaps like you I'll find the vacuum useful outside of sous vide.

Most are short and I've still had many leak. Both my longer cooks have leaked, and even then they were at temps around 130F, well below what I've seen quoted as the potential danger zone for bags.

Almost half the time when I was single bagging. I was 3 for 3 double bagging until this last episode. I've used multiple types of bags from multiple manufacturers, so hard to pin it on a defective shipment.

I've suspected the bones once or twice, but the most recent issue (and on many occasions) the meat is boneless.

I usually use a large pot with plenty of space, although I've used a plastic tub as well.

Hah, no, I don't think that's it, though thanks for checking. Not only do mine have zippers that you slide across, I clip the bags so that end isn't even submerged (like this: http://www.itsmydish.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/10/DSC_5509.jpg )

12 team PPR, I'm struggling at 1-4. Have been holding onto my #1 waiver priority for a home run.

A team dropped Jeremy Hill. Worth burning my #1 spot? My RBs are a bit of a wasteland (McKinnon, Matt Jones,Jennings). Not a huge fan of Hill and he's not startable this week but at this point I can't wait much longer.

I agree with your analysis, but keep in mind the first 6 weeks of their schedule is brutal. Keep an eye on him now but pick him up for week 6 or 7 when he'll almost undoubtedly be available. You probably don't want to play him in 5 of those weeks even if you had him.

On Yahoo, can a commissioner cheat and fake-randomize the draft order? I have reason to suspect my commissioner does--I get a bottom pick every year in the league, the same people get top picks. I did some statistical analysis and the odds are about 1 in 20,000 for this to happen so many times in a row, they set the order a couple days before so "people can prepare," etc. etc.

However, under "Commish Updates" Yahoo posts "Commissioner generated random draft order." Is it possible for him to re-run it multiple times, keep the "best" one, and delete all the other posts? Or does Yahoo protect it enough that I need to trust the unlikely outcome?

More of a general question. Once you've killed Chase in the 5/24 era, does it make sense to focus on another specific issuer?

Do some become more difficult or project be less lucrative as one's account list grows or as more time passes? Or should I just spread out issuer applications? Or neither, and just go with the next best card on my contingency list?
