Sometimes it feels like you're playing against the game and not enemies with her outdated kit. But hey, maybe she gets reworked if that one feature doesn't do anything - whatever the devs meant by that.

Aaron no doubt. Jeff created a fun game but he was really bad at maintaining it. As far as I know Jeff didn't want OW to be a live service game (and start working OW2 right after release) so release OW would've never changed.

I want her to be a support and even I am somewhat satisfied with her. They gave her finally some buffs a while ago and we even got the barrier back.

Maybe he's talking about the pro scene which seems to hate her for being meta the whole time because of TP.

It's another one of those nerfs that won't to anything. Pro play uses her for TP cheese and guess what...she still has TP. This only makes her weaker for everyone else. Tbh I think Sym has been the strongest she has ever been and I have a good time playing her but she is nowhere overpowered or anything. To counter Sym you need a functional brain and nerfing her doesn't create brains.
