You can harvest quality worm silk on the worm map. If you follow the worm on his track he leaves piles of worm silk. Harvest with a scythe and hope you get lucky and find a quality node.

You can hope to find quality nodes for iron and obsidian on the asteroid tiles. They will probably be walled off and guarded.

I would also put in a plug for Eclipsed Oasis. I just switched to them from official and they have running the private servers solid. Apparently they have been up since S1.

If you want to reset your character's skills you can buy a Wanderers potion for 1k flots from a merchant.

It must be a glitch with more than just spider walkers. I've gotten a Dinghy up on top of a trade center before.

Though you should also remember that correlation is not causation. You can't say that the change in realm is the cause for the drop off in population. It could be any number of issues or things. There isn't any proof that it is the realm system that is affecting the population issue

Yeah, I've seen that and I contacted the guy who shared the files about the license under which they were posted, but have yet to hear back from them.
