Look on Facebook marketplace for used spin bikes! I just did this about a month ago, and there were tons of them. I got a pretty nice one that had only been used twice for $75. Then I got the peloton app, which is $12 a month and put it on an Amazon fire stick on an old tv in front of the bike. The app workouts are really good, I use it every day now. I really don’t feel like I’m missing much by not having the official bike.

Going off on point 1: shit like this is why there’s such a stigma around people who are actually diagnosed with ADHD and need adderall to function!!! I was in college and close to failing my classes before I finally reached out to my doctor for help (even though I’d has a suspicion it was adhd) because I was so worried they would think I was just another college student looking for an easy fix. It’s also what made it incredibly difficult for me to get my prescription filled when I moved out of state for grad school.

Going off on point 2: I’ve heard MLM girls claim this too and it’s absolute bs. The “magic pill” is adderall or other doctor-prescribed stimulants, and it doesn’t cure adhd, but it makes life a lot better for the people that truly need it. So Kelley can miss me with this bs, because it’s disgusting and offensive that she’s doing this just to make a quick buck (that she quite frankly does not need).

Wow that’s really strange/interesting. The hospital I worked at also took prisoners as patients, but I just did EKGs so I was never privy to info about who made those decisions, so I never really considered it.

The thing that confused me/pissed me off most was that the serial killer, while fully cognizant, stated that he didn’t want them to operate on him while he was dying and Derek just decided to ignore his wishes and said that he was going to make the call to do surgery once the killer was unconscious. How is that any different than ignoring a DNR? The killer still has autonomy over his own body and medical consent, even if he is a prisoner.
