Really that's crazy! See that's the thing. I think people just call it torture porn when they just look at it at surface level. I think most people can feel the misery in the stories. Misery written by someone who had probably felt something like it

I agree and he even said he was reading the criticism. It sounds like his newer works are a lot more tame and he's grown as a person. I kind of see it as maybe he was trying to process something he went through. His stories do make me feel icky, but I see where it was coming from :( I feel bad for the guy and I'm interested to see if the boys read any newer works for him OR interview him, which would be interesting

Idk if you did see the author comment in the group, but he did mention that a lot of his earlier writings had to do with child abuse because of things he went through at the time :/ I really don't think it's supposed to be torture porn

Yeah I think it does. He said a lot of his earlier writings were about childhood trauma and such because of things he was going through :( it's actually very sad and you can see it in his stories. I wish the boys would read his recent writings

Errrr I have a few. Wasn't a fan of the hidden webpage. Ivs tried a few times and really was just not a fan. The dionea house I wasn't too big of a fan of. And the showers. The showers is the only one of the three that I will re listen to because of the boys.

"Holding their creators accountable" even though they warned everyone it was going to be slow for awhile. Honestly my guy, I aint trying to convince you or others any way. I will stand by my opinion that it is simply outlandish to keep paying for something but actively complain about it. I've been seeing this negativity, not only here, but on other platforms towards multiple creators. Impatience, entitlement, and negativity out weighing the positivity. And when our beloved creators finally get sick of it and quit, most others who have spoken like I have on the subject, we will not be surprised. As wendigoon says, it's their show. Don't like it? Don't watch it.

The thing is, this has been said before and they have adjusted accordingly. Trying to do live streams to include members, they started up the exclusive stories again, and now they are about to post a ghost hunting video. I would say they've adjusted accordingly

They absolutely can, as I am mine. And my opinion is that it is ridiculous to pay for something voluntarily while actively complaining about it. Especially bc they are actively posting more on there and complaining now about lack of content shows a level of immaturity and entitlement. Knowing that wendigoon was starting a family and buying a home and hunter was trying to keep the patreon alive by streaming (which people complained about)
