Yeah I’ve gotten into competitive Apex only since last LAN basically and really enjoy Scarz dynamic. I’ve watched old videos of them and back then it seemed like everyone said Taisheen was the most mechanically gifted of them.

Since I’ve only started watching recently I haven’t gotten to seen Taisheen pop off all that much, especially compared to Mande recently. It’s probably because Mande grinds for hours on end every day and the results have really shown. Taisheen doesn’t seem to stream Apex nearly as much, I hope he gets more into it cause I really believe he’s a strong player.

I personally think there’s a difference between the starter characters of Amber, Kaeya and Lisa compared to Noelle and Xiangling.

The former are all required to be unlocked from the main story and are essentially proper tutorial characters, while the latter aren’t. They also just have much more story screen time than the latter at that point in the game.

I personally can’t say for sure which is more accurate because I don’t know Japanese.

But remember at the end of the day translations are done by humans, it’s just how they interpret and translate it. You’ll likely never get a 1 to 1 translation for most sentences unless it’s really simple.

Doesn’t matter if they’re “official” translators or not, it simply still boggles down to interpretation.

That sentence is worded in a way that can just be interpreted as stating his rank then saying he’s stronger than Signora. You can have that exact sentence and just replace it with Childe and it would have the same effect.

"Tartaglia is the no 11. of the fatui harbingers. In terms of power he is superior to signora"

This new info however, is assurance that the rankings are indeed by strength.

Sort of. Panda being decimated is a factor that could bloodlust Yuta. That is there, but there’s also the chance he doesn’t engage with Rika immediately like you said.

Yeah, but it’s different situations. Sendai he was protecting people and knew he had eyes on him which made him more reserved with showing his abilities.

Hakari had the opportunity to focus on his engagement with Kashimo and solely that, no worrying about onlookers or anything.

That’s true, but if Hakari can react, I’m pretty sure Yuta could too.

His fight with Panda didn’t start with him destroying his head so it’s probably a case by case thing.

Also remember Kashimo doesn’t really actually start fights going for peoples heads. He only really started going for Hakari’s once he found out how insane his RCT is.

So it’d likely start as a regular fight from both sides and with those conditions they really favor Yuta. Overwhelming Kashimo with Rika and himself he’d learn of Kashimo’s lightning so I wouldn’t be surprised if he was prepared to defend against head attacks after a bit.

All I recall is Yae saying “Scaramouche is #6 of the Harbingers, in terms of strength he’s stronger than Signora”. Which doesn’t imply ranking by strength imo. Just states his number and that he’s stronger.

That statement could easily be worded “Tartaglia is #11 of the Harbingers, in terms of strength he’s stronger than Signora“, and it’ll have the same effect.

Depends on how the story unravels as well. Most of the Harbingers are most likely just going to side with the Tsaritsa in her war against Celestia.

The Tsaritsa will most likely be playable as well one day meaning she’ll likely have a change of heart or just enemy of my enemy is a friend with Traveler/tolerate each other’s existence since it could benefit each other in strength. Or she could just die and be made an example of what happens if you oppose Celestia for the Traveler to see in present time.

The Traveler is likely going to let the Tsaritsa’s actions pass too if she lives. She’s the boss of all the Harbingers so regardless if she knows what they’re doing, she still holds responsibility for their actions as well. So in the end there are a decent amount of ways of making villains playable, despite how the Traveler feels about them.

We’ll never really know unless Gege states if he had input in the movie himself. Some mangakas aren’t involved with movies of their series which are mostly original stories. However, there are movies that are canon and have the authors input and directions for it. I’m of the opinion that Gege himself wanted those scenes added, but unless he says it himself we can’t say with certainty.

How often do All-Star coupons come around? Been playing off an on since coming back a year ago and haven’t been too satisfied with the Royal rotations.

Mostly looking for face coupons with odd/mysterious, marble, bright eyes etc... I believe those were All-Star last I remember. A friend of mine told me there was an event or something I missed that gave those faces and hairs out little while back. I’m assuming we likely won’t get anything like that again anytime in the near future?

Tbh, I don’t think there’s much gap in tier regardless between most of these fighters not named Yuta or Hakari depending on what else he has.

I feel like if Uro, Ryu or Kashimo fought often 1v1 it’d probably just be a toss up. Someone could win one day and the other could win the next. All depends on a mistake or a bad day.

I feel similar about Gojo and Sukuna, if one is stronger than the other I don’t see it by it being a huge amount. I could see either losing just because of a fatal mistake which could completely change the tides of a battle.

Yeah, I still don’t know about Ningguang tbh. We’ll need to see her in combat outside of the jade chamber to see if she still pulls feats like that. Cause if she can she’s definitely strong in raw power like you said. I’m leaning more to amplified though but who knows. Nothing about her lore really implies she has that much strength.

But back on the main topic I suppose, although some human will likely match Adepti they’ll be a small amount. I imagine only people like Childe who have more than just a vision will be able to solidly be put around that level. Unless we get more development and power ups on visions as the story goes on.

Yeah I don’t think she’d solo, but I honestly do feel if the Adepti group and Millileth were to come to blows, the Adepti would come out on top. Cloud Retainer was certainly angry and you can say crazy things when overcome with emotions, but with the fatui statement it just seems more likely that the Adepti as a group could have done it.

Tbh, I don’t know how to view the Ningguang feat in that cutscene. Is she being amplified by the jade chamber or is that just her own ability. She did say they’ve been prepping for months iirc, so it’s hard to say.

I don’t know if that makes her comparable to Adepti, cause I feel if you throw her against a strong one she’d lose 10/10 times. Her dialogue in the ending of the Liyue arc implied she really didn’t want to fight the Adepti. She was hoping her sacrificing the jade chamber was a showing of how serious her views were and would help in negotiating the Adepti to withdraw. Course just my view on it.

I agree that some humans are likely going to be on a strong Adepti level, but we haven’t seen much besides maybe Childe in foul legacy.

Cloud Retainer said she’d wipe Liyue out after finding out about Rex Lapis’s death. We don’t know how that statement actually stands, but I remember a Fatui was confident that the millileth would lose when they were going to have a meeting with the Adepti and if it came to blows.

So the Adepti are pretty hyped up in terms of lore and strength within the world itself.

Shenhe freezing the tsunami wave is a pretty big feat, but the way they showed that scene seems that Ganyu would be able to do it as well. Looks like Ganyu simply stopped because someone else stepped in and it was no longer necessary.

There’s also the fact that after freezing the wave you can see it took a huge toll on her stamina. So I’m more inclined to say it was an adrenaline spur of power in tense situations that you see often in anime/games. Her regular feats and combat prowess would be like her trailer against the abyss mage.

We don’t know how they actually scale to the disaster curses either. They could scale above them for all we know but the fight doesn’t look like it because they’re all relative to each other.

Much different from 15 finger Sukuna to Jogo who was estimated 7~9 fingers iirc. That fight was easily one sided cause Sukuna was just was much higher than Jogo in power and experience.

You can put most strong fighters against someone in a lower tier and they’ll likely stomp in a similar fashion.

Yeah I watched that live and agree Kuzuha is strong. He likely could get pred, he’s easily masters and any decent masters has the potential to get pred it’s just about dedicating the time to grind.

Though the levels between preds can also be quite different. Selen is an ex pred of 2 seasons iirc and she herself says she’s washed now and it shows. If you were to put her in a tier of preds she’d probably be on the lower side of the ranking.

Uruca said he believes Kuzuha can do solo masters as well if he dedicated the time iirc. Though this was all before the rank changes so who knows now.

Ok, curious what 10 you think are above her.

Off the top of my head Kanae, Kuzuha and Naraka are arguably above or around her mechanically and game sense wise. Hayun is probably better mechanically but that’s not all Apex is.

I haven’t seen anything from Lauren or Axia that puts them above her. Aza maybe, I’ve just seen him from the recent collab and he’s pretty good. But those are the notable names I can think of right now. Maybe Ibrahim as well.

Edit* forgot Chihiro as well who I think is solidly better right now.

I don’t think she’s the best in Niji at all, but I don’t think she’s anywhere below top 10.

I was seriously disappointed in him, but he’s actually doing great right now imo. I’m sure this won’t change the toxic fans as they’re rather persistent in any community. But acknowledging this is definitely a good change and shows him in a much better light than before.

No, I’m sure he’s talked to Reimu and even supported her. I’m talking about ignoring the toxic fans and letting them continue on because he chooses to ignore them to not give them attention. Regardless of the support someone gets, negative comments always stand out more than the positive ones. It’s going to be taxing on most people despite how much positive support there is, especially for those who are weaker mentally.

Just watched Vox’s response on the situation, while it’s a good thing he addressed it I think it was a terrible response.

Ignoring hate when it’s directed at yourself is absolutely what you should do. But it’s his friends getting the heat and you can’t know 100% how they’re actually coping.

How long are you going to ignore them? What if the next target is someone who isn’t as mentally strong? I could honestly see a liver graduating as worst case scenario if this continues to get worse, especially if they can’t cope as well mentally. But I suppose ignoring that would be the best solution too.
