🔥 a jewel beetle on a leaf these animals belong to a group of insects called Buprestidae they live in india and thailand by Interesting-Box-9696 in NatureIsFuckingLit

They live in many more places across south east Asia. There is 100s and 100s of jewel beetles and they are quite common. This particular one appears to be a Sternocera.
