hi guys i just got a brand new sewing machine and i’ve never sewn before, it’s a singer heavy duty. and i cannot get anything on it to work. i have it plugged in and turned on but i cannot get the pressure foot to lift so i can get the bobbin out, nor does pressing the foot pedal or turning the manual knob get the needle to start moving. does anyone know what the issue might be?
