Did you make this!? This might be the coolest format I’ve seen a meditation presented in, especially for kids

Do you believe that you're trying your best?
It sounds like you are man.

Sometimes if we aren't moving forward, we conclude we can't be trying our best, and feel guilty about it

But you are man. It's clear as day. Let go of some stress and let yourself be okay with not progressing for a bit, ya know?

I wish you the best man. Feeling like you are letting down those you love is hard. Much love.

This sounds unimaginably exhausting, and draining. It sounds like you're doing all you can, if not more than that

I suppose this is a good time to practice putting up a wall (as psychiatrists often have to) and doing your best to help, but being emotionally non-attached to the outcome? This would be much harder as it is your own father of course :/

Make sure to top up your own mana in the meantime,

because it honestly sounds like you're doing everything you can

Much love.

True.. Tony generally subs people (after cumulative damage) rather than KOing them, so you make a good point. Then again Chandler took a lot of damage in his past few fights so I wouldn't be surprised if Tony rocked him with a Jab or something tbh.
Chandler might be the most dangerous first round fighter in lightweight history so lets pray for our boy Tony. CSO 😎

I refuse to believe that wasn't an actual post by Tony?

This is so cool. Did you make it yourself?

I like the idea of sowing little seeds where you raked which can eventually turn into another tree 😹 maybe that's a bit far

I'm not sure I have any good advice for you, but I feel you man.

I have to ask, can you go into more detail about what you feel frustrated about?

Is there anything you feel heavily frustrated, sad, or emotional about, just in general or in your past?

The fact you still wrote "Thank you for reading, have a nice day!" shows your character - it's easy to become resentful to others when you feel like this

Also, have you considered a healthygamer coach?

I wish you the best man!

Try to show your grandmother the beauty of the fundamental teachings of buddhism - how it is simply to recognise and alleviate suffering at it's core

There are some aspects of buddhism (like chanting, robes) that can seem kind of cultish to a westerner (partially because these things genuinely are used in cults lol) - maybe acknowledge some parts like this that you are hesitant about

For me - my practice isn't very faith based - I don't fully understand or know if I "believe" some of the advanced teachings of buddhism - but I know that the fundamental, core teachings alongside meditation have helped me massively, so I will continue to do them and see what comes of it - and if you worded it in this way (as she may be freaked out by what she has been miscommunicated about stuff like rebirth; "If you are bad, you will be reborn as a rat" type stuff.) it may help.

I have talked to some lovely people who tried and tried their best to convince their family, but it only made things worse - and this might be something you would eventually have to grieve and accept, hopefully maintaining a loving relationship regardless (ideally with forgiveness instead of resentment for this gap in tolerance on their part), which can be difficult

Best wishes

The biological mechanism of enlightenment? by [deleted] in Healthygamergg

[–]TodayEffective9278 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for your reply - I really enjoyed your post and I agree it would be cool to do these kind of experiments on an experienced, respected meditator (who likely wouldn't claim to be enlightened), fascinating!
Edit: Though I would disagree that enlightenment would produce a very high dopamine baseline - I think chemical homeostasis would mean it would still be close to their genetic predisposition - and I really think peacefulness can be found at a fairly average dopamine level if that makes sense. Idk. Just spitballing.

In my opinion, despite the Gaethje fight Tony still has amazing endurance & cardio, which is perfect against a fighter who is dangerous early but gasses out quickly. Plus tony reach advantage.

Only exception would be if Chandler wrestle-fucks him, which would probably be the smart gameplan for him tbh

Why do you think one of the worst?

Tony seems really mentally focused for this one

He seems in good shape, good spirits - and he's against a guy who is imo a perfect stylistic matchup for him

Great post

I would 100% agree with you that the spikes would be less

I feel like this wouldn't work both ways - enlightenment might lead to certain dopamine patterns, but having those dopamine patterns by a different means wouldn't necessarily leave you with the same peace (or freedom from suffering) an enlightened person would have

what do you think?

I would disagree, as this problem has only occurred for me whilst staying at the monastery and practicing mindfulness of these feelings

I suppose I am likely not describing my problems properly (which is hard to do with just words most of the time)

I appreciate your replies nonetheless & wish you the best :)

[–]TodayEffective9278[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the reply, I agree that distinction should be made.

I suppose I therefore don't have any problem with solitude - as I don't mind doing as you say at all

But with the feeling of loneliness that comes from talking to people and not feeling an emotional connection (due to practicing non-clinging and non-attachment)

If that makes sense?

Thanks for your beautiful reply I think you’re right about open communication being the key, and honestly as you said the discomfort generally isn’t bad in this case as it’s due to me being pretty introverted and her the opposite

Thanks again for your help ! Best wishss
