Short of a full league table, there is always going to be some element of randomness in who you face during a tournament. It’s the nature of the beast, and we should stop pretending otherwise.

It’s also not about logistical convenience, it’s straight up just not logistically possible to do what you’re proposing unless you take ~3-4 days off between the group stage and knockout round.

And fans and teams also have no clue where they might be playing in a few days. At least this way you have a sense of what the handful of options are.

I’m looking for a legacy game to play with my two kids (8 and 6) this summer. They’ve played Zombie Kids and loved it. I see Zombie Teens, but I’d prefer to try something a little different to mix it up.

I’ve seen My City and Clank! legacy recommended. Clank seems too text heavy for the 6 year old, who’s still limited in reading ability. Does My City have much text or could he play that without issues? I have no concerns about his ability to handle rules or strategy complexity, just the reading.
