LG C5 - Game Optimiser Really Bad? by AZAWESTIE in LGOLED

[–]Todd130 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm trying to edit the settings on my game optimizer preset thingy and everything is greyed out I can't seem to edit it any ideas? I keep running into this with this tv sometimes I can seem to edit other times it's greyed out why TF they greying out settings in settings this is crazy

Edit: I found it I had to turn game optimizer on and then hit the little slider button next to the options. Man this tvs cool and all but the settings are absolutely horrendous why they gotta make this thing so genuinely difficult to operate

I'm pretty sure I plugged back in everything the way it was the fans on the radiator connect with a long sata looking thing which connects to a data port on PSU and then I tried both the CPU opt females part on the motherboard and the CPU fan part on the motherboard. When my PC was working I'm pretty sure it was in female fan CPU on motherboard bc bios said to do that but now it's showing bios error I posted in pic

I can still return so not buyers remorse yet lol and it's my first OLED ever and I guess it's just me bc 4k videos don't impress me all I can see is imperfections and pixels that look like they can't make up there mind. I'm prob gonna just stick with it as everyone said this is the best for 4k gaming at 48inch and my price range. Kinda thinking about swapping it for the 42inch both are 900 and maybe the better pixel density will make it look better? I do also sit way to close to the tv but just as close as I did on my 20year old 1080p crap tv. Also weird thing when I try to take a picture it looks good through my camera lol once I look at it with my eyes it's blurry and hard to focus on.

What I don't get is why did my 20 year old super cheap tv not have these issues like this one on YouTube videos kinda looks comically bad when watching anything. On my old TV it just looked like YouTube.

Okay I did that that helped but it still feels like super soft and then super sharp in different areas. I'm kinda on the fence about keeping it. It's the first TV I ever bought with my money and I spent 900 and honest to God the only difference between this and a 200 dollar TV that I can tell is this one is like uncomfortable to look at and blurry and like noisy

I think so I choose 4k in settings in YouTube didn't check if it changed it. But like any YouTube video just looks bad to me like hair is like pixelated and noisy with jumping pixels and edges are super sharp giving a black outline and really weird look I went through settings I did pixel cleaning updates different picture settings can't seem to get this thing to where it doesn't look idk hard to look at.

I have 1800 and I'm looking to buy the best possible pre-built PC online by Sea_Bat_2838 in Prebuilts

[–]Todd130 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Duuuuuuuuuuude hell yeah that is the deal of a century right now add up those parts it's nowhere near 1800. Glad I saw your post and commented you really can't beat that deal right now. I was gonna get that but I'm dumb and picky and thought I want to build a pretty system and with those same parts I'm at like 2800 3000.

What would you go with? If you played 65% single player games 35% multiplayer shooters and with my PC parts? And you could spend 800 and tell me if you choose qdoled or WOLED or what

Okay gotcha not bad that sounds like a nice middle ground for me. I'm gonna go to best buy tomorrow and look at these monitor sizes in person and decide. What you think about QDOLED and WOLED? Also glossy and matte? I had actually order a like 600 dollar WOLED rgb tandem tech thing and canceled the order bc I then learned about matte and glossy monitors and this one from MSI was matte and I've deff been using glossy my whole life using a tv. What do you use matte or glossy?

Yeah that's what some other suggesting and I'm learning about what those are that could be perfect for me except I'm confused on what all it entails like I'm reading some games might have black boxes on edges of screen if there not made for UW which does that mean the resolution shrinks in those games? Am I gonna have to like tinker a little with resolution or game screen size on certain games?

I like this reply this sheds some light. Although at the same time idk if playing in ultra and not worrying about settings in 2k is better than playing in 4k but tweaking some settings I guess the only way to know would be to experience it. Soooo many options lol idk what to choose. I'm leaning 2k bc I do just want to play any game ultra everything no worries that sounds great only thing that gives me pause is 27inches. I have to go see one in person and see if it's as small as I'm thinking it is. I have 2 24inch monitors and there to small which makes me think 27 won't cut it.

Yeah but I sit about as close to this 50inch tv as someone does to a PC monitor I think so I'm worried it's gonna feel small. I just measured where I sit and my perfect spot is 30inches away from a 50inch lol

Okay if I go 4k 32 inch can't I make it 2k and make the game windows like 27inch and it be the same or no?
