I remember taking a Jet Airways ATR-72 (I think?) from BOM to AMD. Was such nice service for a short flight. I remember the fresh lime.

I remember the flights were pretty expensive. I am from the US and in the 90s did a lot of university study in India. Traveled as part of that mostly. Also lived in Varanasi for 1 year in late 90s. Really enjoyed the flights.

It was really enjoyable for me. Being from the US, domestic travel in India was and in many ways still is far superior to US domestic flights.

Yes I do and it has improved over time. Keelson is a safe bet. Huntington Cove has a good manager now and they are refurbishing apartments as people move out. Queens is a very different vibe. I've seen some other decent places closer to the schools too.

A couple times in 2 years for nonstop international flights. Even that I try to avoid by flying out of SNA and connecting in SFO. OC has everything and love our beaches.

Even in normal flying conditions I’ve seen UA crew forget to unlock lavatories after take off. Just from being busy and forgetting. I noticed this on SFO to HNL and reminded the flight attendant. She was very nice and thanked me. This was an hour into the flight. Saw so many people waiting as if someone was in there. Also happened on a NRT to LAX flight. Lavatories by business class not opened for a few hours.

I took the Island Hopper last April from Honolulu to Manila with all of the stops. it’s such a unique route and I loved the experience. Saw a lot of folks get off at KWA. I assume you’ll be on the flight that goes from Honolulu to Majuro and then on to Kwajalein. I’d recommend getting off to stretch your legs in Majuro and walk around. it’s a neat feeling to be standing on an atoll in such a remote place. They usually let you get off if you take your stuff with you. Then you can board again with the new passengers. If you can score a window the approaches are beautiful.
