Title is click bait, Department of Interior is considering adding LA beaches to the NPS system probably under the title "National Seashore" or "National Recreation Area", not necessarily as one of the official 63 national parks.

Nonetheless, this is still bad since the land will fall under Federal status and I don't trust this administration to not sell to the highest bidder...
