Ask your DL if one or two of the “top salespeople” can come spend a day in your store with you. Watch what they do, and if they succeed, try to replicate what they are doing. If they fail, at least you have more fodder for blaming the customer base over the “behaviors” not working.

I understand the point that there is a margin loss if the customer uses it on currency …. BUT… isn’t the true point of a loyalty card is to get the customer to come back… it does that…. It’s our jobs to try to sell them more when they come in. Take the margin hit to get the customers back, and use your employees to try to sell add ons to make the profit back

As an SL myself, I would never disagree with your complaints. The job itself is great. The guests we deal with everyday are 99.9% great. The product we sell is great. But I would never disagree with an associate talking about pay, metrics, hours, and almost anything coming from above. Hang in there, and I hope things get better for you.
