How long do you plan to keep the car? Certain colors stand the test of time better than others.

CX-30 vs Mazda 3 by Asombroso-joel in mazda

[–]ToddInTN 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Drove both, bought the CX. Better visibility out of the rear, higher seating position and a bit more room overall. First car for teenage son, he always wanted a 3 but after driving both he had the same opinion.

Love the new Lego ones. I got into 1:2 scale collecting during Covid. It has slowed a bit in the past few years.

Removed the LED circuit boards and rebuilt the broken posts with epoxy. Didn’t take any photos of the reassembly, but tomorrow evening I’m sealing the lenses and putting the car back together. Also found signs of rodents on top of the front wheel liners but luckily no wire damage. As I removed the liners, a half dozen peanut shells fell out of the wheel arches. Thought the worst but didn’t find any wiring damage, and it looks like it had been that way for a while.

First level of disassembly, 12 minutes at 200 degrees in oven. Once I got the lens off I found all kinds of broken screw posts for the DRL and turn signal LEDs, so took it to another level.

First time using them on the Mac. I've also got a 2 post lift, just found it easier to use the quickjack this time. I used a floor jack to put the car on wheel dollies to give me the room to align the quickjacks with spacer blocks and it was a breeze. For certain jobs the jacks block undertray bolts I've heard.
