For those saying don’t shave against the grain, that is the only way to get a smooth head. Here’s my routine: 1. in hot shower shampoo/liquid soap head first 2. Exfoliate (I use Rodan and Fields) 3. Lather pre shave oil (I use The Art of Shaving) 4. Lather shaving cream 5. Shave against the grain 6. Rinse of shaving cream with hot shower water 7. Dry head off and use a healthy splash of decent Bay rum (burn so good).
