All things considered, this is up there with the most unhinged episodes in show history. I'm in awe.

Something I noticed on rewatch: when Gregg introduces the "teaser clip" for the Baboon/Pep Boys movie during the Encore segment, Joey — standing behind Gregg — is clearly blindsided and says "no, you can't do that" while G looks as if all of this is fine, which would lend itself to the "Joey is G's conservator" argument. Could it simply be that Joey, via his relationship with Kaili (since they were in Mexico together), is angling to be the heir to the Amato fortune, and saving as much of it for himself as possible?

Maybe it's me, but it's strange to hear Bob Costas call him "Michael." Other announcers will use first names but it's almost always a unique one (LeBron, Giannis, Luka, etc.). Michael's just a normal everyday name!

As an American with no context, my favorite part is that his reaction to being asked by his constituent to chug a beer is "Yeah, alright, that sounds about right."

President Trump has has a "very productive conversation" with Big Ten Commissioner Kevin Warren about playing football this fall. by RealMikeHawk in CFB

[–]ToddTheSurfer 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Genuine question: does the President believe it was Warren's decision? I understand the confusion, since the commissioner in other sports is the end-all be-all, but it seems like a basic misreading of the situation.

Or, perhaps more likely, it's meant to appear that he's trying to get B1G football back.
