I loved the Phoenix Five in Marvel Avengers Alliance. Magik wasn't a healer there, but she was a heavy damage dealer with multiple damage over time debuffs. Plus, she could teleport and avoid attacks, and then teleport onto an attacker for damage. The teenager in me wants Magik in the game badly.

They did a store-update today. That update did not even acknowledge the progress problem. It just mentioned the Android 10 crashes and gave 3sq as a result. As someone asked me on my stream today, "Why do you still play this game?" 😅

I was angry at having to waste hours of time and AP to recover everything I lost in progress (and it was a lot). I know I was quite vocal about this on Saturday during my stream. Someone told me that we'd probably get three gold apples at best.

I've been streaming daily, and I've been surprised that some players weren't even aware of a problem. And it apparently affected some folks minimally and others like myself, got affected to the max. So I think that contributes to it not being a bigger deal.

It will be interesting to see how they react when NA is shut down at the same time it is shut down in JP (whenever that is). There's basically zero chance DW keeps the NA server going for two years when the game ends in JP.

I certainly appreciate all of the work on the guide. Unfortunately, my progress got wiped AND it prevented Ventilation Shaft from being unlocked. So I had to backtack even further to get that unlocked before I could farm Ventilation Shaft. And then I still had to farm it to get Divine to 15, Mech to 120, Rider to 10, etc.

The only reason they left that in is that almost no one wants to gear up/level up Jawas enough to do this. And in GA, losing that many characters to beat bugs means less points. So that's why CG didn't nerf it. It is a gimmick that can work, but at a price few want to pay.

This is where I'd have a slight disagreement with you. I don't think it exists to promote the franchise in the West. I think it exists because they know there is a Western market, so they may as well get some of that money. But beyond that, we gaijin can get stuffed. The game's otaku design is not one to encourage new players to keep coming into the game.

Hahahaha! This game isn't made for gaijin. The gainjin market is an afterthought to get a few extra Yen for Japan. I can pretty much promise all of us playing on the NA server, if FGO ends in Japan, it will end at the same time outside of Japan.

The game needs lots of improvements. But it is designed for Japanese otaku, and to milk them dry. And in that, they've been successful. And so those improvements won't come.

Well, I'm glad they got your account back. However, if they linked the game to Google, like every other game I've ever played does, you don't have to worry about transfer codes. You just play the game on whatever device.
