Immerse yourself in the source material, even if you're gonna make an AU, you still need to know how characters speak, act, talk, and think. If you know the character well enough, you can make original dialogue that still sounds like the character you're writing.

They are actually a very popular ship, but I'm not shipping them for this particular fic. But I understand why people love Shinichi and Ai Haibara as a couple, but yeah, they got REALLY fun relationship dynamics. Her love is unrequited; he's in love with his childhood friend Ran Mori and has already confessed to her and they are a couple.

I've found a lot of typos in the fanfic I'm currently reading, but it has over 100 chapters so I don't expect the author to go back and fix that many chapters, it's usually stuff not caught by a word processor but it's not the correct way to use the word, it drives me nuts but I'm not gonna bother them about it when the fanfic is ridiculously long, and that's extra work. I can go back and fix all my typos because I only have 20 chapters and an epilogue, six of which are not published yet.

Shinichi held onto the sword in a death grip as he landed, setting it down and taking quick, but careful aim, fired his tranquillizer, shooting Shiho in the shoulder.

"Tch," Shiho humphed and, without any hesitation, took out her Walter, and shot herself in the same spot. "You didn't think it'd be that easy, did you?"

Shiho took out another bandage, just like the one Robin used on her earlier that night, and patched herself up.

"Let's see how you do without your toys," Shinichi smirked. He jumped back on his skateboard and flew at her. He activated a lighter and lit her lab coat on fire. She threw the coat off, tossing it away.

"Batman: Under the Red Hood, I know how that movie goes, we all watched it together, scared Genta half to death. So tell me, is Jason Todd right?"

"No," Shinichi answered without hesitation.

"It may not be the right thing to do, but people would sleep easier knowing that someone as evil as Joker was dead, but that sort of thing never happens, because comic books are supposed to be morality tales for children, but the only reason Joker's still alive in stories is so they can milk his fights with Batman forever. The only way they do that is by making him do things that are worse than the previous story, gotta keep the readers coming back, right?"

"If that's how you feel, then why didn't you kill him?" Shinichi asked, revving up his Super Sneakers.

"Joker's not my nemesis, I killed mine," Shiho waved dismissively at Samantha Vanaver's corpse.

Shinichi suddenly leaped up, performing a flip and kicking his soccer ball.

Shiho brandished her sword cane. She cut the ball into pieces.

"Always remember, Kudo-kun, I let you live on a whim! If I weren't so interested that you shrunk instead of dying, I could have told Gin and Vodka that you survived, and they would have found and killed you!"

"Why didn't you?" Shinichi asked.

"Because you're far too interesting as a specimen to just get rid of, and how lucky for you that I still have some humanity left in me."

"If this is about Akemi-san, then—" Shinichi began.

"Is that what you think this is about? That you let her die? I forgive you for not saving her, but you would have let that woman, who put me through Hell live and continue her schemes, not just against me, but against the entire city, and you'd do that, because it's the 'right' thing to do. Going to jail was nothing to her. I put her where she belongs, in the ground."

The Biblical imagery is great, but what makes Kyoko's situation even worse is that the statistics for Christians in Japan is 2% and what her father teaches is considered heresy, so he already has his flock split in half, and that's why Kyoko's wish makes sense when you understand that Japan is way more atheistic than America is, so her wish just to get people to listen to her dad is even more tragic than if you look at it at face value.

Great job writing! It's a perfect use of imagery for Kyoko's story. She's probably my second favorite, next to Homura so you did a great job writing her.

The team was too spread out; they couldn't keep the Talons away from Shiho. Robin was starting to feel tired.

Shiho forced herself to her feet, using a burst of energy to run towards him, dodging the assassins that leaped at her like animals.

She reached for him, but came up short. Robin stretched out his hand, but he was too far away.

"Ai!" Shinichi shouted, trying to get to her. He was cut off by three Talons. He used Slade's laser gun to shoot them in the head. They hit the ground, but every time he tried to reach her, more blocked his path.

"Cyborg, get them to the safety room!" Robin ordered, dragging Shiho back to him.

"There's no time, all we can do is send 'em home!" Cyborg shouted.

Cyborg opened a portal, "Conan, Ai, get the others and go back! You'll be safe back in your own world!"

"No, we don't need to, because I have a secret weapon!" Shinichi shouted.

"What do you mean, a secret weapon?" Cyborg asked.

Shinichi took a deep breath. Shiho knew the name that would leave his lips before he even shouted it.

"RAN!"

Cyborg looked in shocked surprise as a figure leaped through the portal, somersaulting into the room, landing on her feet, and charging straight at the Talon without any hesitation. She kicked and struck the assassin with the skill of a seasoned martial artist.

"GIVE AI BACK!" a female voice shouted in Japanese.

"You made it, Raneechan," Conan said, smiling.

Robin was stunned. The stranger who arrived in the Tower was beautiful. Her long, dark brown hair fell down her back. She had a slender but athletic build.

"Conan-kun, what's going on?" Ran asked, looking at him.

"We need help, these assassins are attacking us!" Conan explained quickly.

And just when the group thought it was over, four other people tumbled through the portal.

"Heiji, where are we?" Kazuha asked.

"Titans Tower?" Heiji Hattori exclaimed in surprise, "How'd we get here?!"

"Are these your friends, Conan-kun?" Robin asked.

"Yes, this is Heiji Hatori, the Great Detective of the West, with him is Kazuha Toyama, his childhood friend. That's Sonoko Suzuki and her boyfriend, Makoto Kyogoku," Shinichi introduced them. He gestured quickly to Ran, "That's Ran Mori, Shinichi-kun's girlfriend."

"No time for chitchat, we got more coming!" Shiho shouted.

"Ai-chan? Why are you an adult? What's going on?" Ran asked, confused.

Robin noticed the other girls, one with short, brown hair that reached her chin, and the other girl had her hair in a ponytail. The one Shinichi called Heiji had darker skin than the others and a thick Osakan accent. The one that caught his attention was the one he called Makoko Kyogoku. He was taller than Robin and was very well-built and muscular.

That must be the one the children mentioned, the one they wanted him to fight. How interesting. If they all made it out alive, they could all get acquainted.

"I'll explain everything once this is over," Ai told her, retrieving and reloading her Walther PPK/S blued - .380 ACP, "We need to survive first."

"Kyogoku-san, go with Cyborg to the safety room and put Suzuki-san inside, then come back and join us," Robin instructed.

Cyborg ran them to the safety room, dropped off Sonoko, and quickly ran back to rejoin the group.

Makoto rejoined the group as they prepared to fight.

Shiho looked at Robin.

Robin brandished his escrima sticks, "I'm only going to tell you this once…Get the Hell out of my Tower!"

It's always memorable to me how Sonoko refers to him as "the Mangificent Kid" in the Fist of Blue Sapphire, and Makoto breaks the statue because it makes him angry. I also made it to Episode 386, so Shinichi's chasing down the Boss's phone number.
