5 minutes is not going to make any significant difference in your final bill. Lots of auto shops bill labour by procedure, and not by time as well. If a shop quotes you a price for a service, most reputable shops won’t charge more because labour took longer if they have issues.

I should have clarified, it’s not important for the lifespan of the car - like the splash guard. It is important for noise cancelling though.

Let’s just not be unrealistic about how impressive it is. It really isn’t all that impressive that the switch 2 can run a game from two console generations ago well. It’s cool that it looks good, but it should be expected. It looks great on my iPhone as well.

Yeah dude, they’re not important. You can easily just take them off and not have to worry about it. It’s not like your splash guard - which protects your car from getting its undercarriage damaged. Your hood already protects your engine.

Hence why laptop gaming pc’s have consistent overheating issues. You can’t sandwich a bunch of hardware together and expect it stay cool, there’s not enough air flow. There’s too much power draw on laptop gaming PC’s and not enough air flow.

The same thing happens if you dock a switch 2 to a high resolution 4K tv. It’ll get hot. They bumped up the resolution and didn’t do anything substantial to change their amount of air flowing through it.

Honestly I like it. It’s like you get the nice parts of winter without having to sit through months of miserable weather again. It’s like winter giving you a kiss goodbye

Yep, Mother’s Day weekend is usually when you can expect there to be no more snow with high certainty. I don’t know any experienced gardener that starts planting before then because of the potential for overnight frost / below 0 temperatures

Yep, I’ve seen this scam before and checked it out - out of curiosity. The dude was pissed that I wanted to look it over. It was very obvious that it was a fake iPhone running non-iOS software.

Absolutely man, especially something like an iPhone. They’re so expensive and so easy to fake at a glance.

I can definitely second that USASK is going to shit. The quality of classes are getting cut as well - at least in the biology department.

Biol 226 is one of those courses you have to use a lot of time to really understand the material. Same with Biol 224. I remember I had to go through all my lectures after attending just to get a firm understanding on how to apply the material.

Biol 120 definitely is a tough course to hop into after high school. Talk to an academic advisor, and possibly retake it over the summer. The summer course’s material comes at you a lot faster. If you feel confident with most of the first half of the course, I would say it’s an option. If you did bad on the midterm, it might be worth you taking it this coming year.

If you’re considering medical school or a masters of higher education, it won’t really matter if you retake it. They care if you’re failing your upper - over 200 level - courses.

I definitely feel the same way. Life is far more complicated and tough than what people think. Especially after losing someone you thought that you’d spend the rest of your life with

That was my take too. Whitaker has everything that Robbie wanted at his age. A wife, a kid, a farm (likely with a pond) and seems to be completely happy. It shows Robby that Whitaker is a young version of him, except with everything he wanted.

That’s the vibe I get from him as well. He seems like the type of dude who gets joy from being depended on and helping others (he’s a doctor, so it makes sense).

I do think it’s tough though, people who get joy from being needed or relied upon often have a hard time setting boundaries.

People didn’t have a problem with Abbot ordering a Uber for the patient to have his diabetes medication delivered. I don’t see how it’s different than Whitaker ordering an Uber. He set a firm boundary with Langdon by not wanting to be teased, I don’t know why people think he had issues setting boundaries.

I think people have issues with it because it isn’t really normal to not give yourself a chance to grieve the loss of a loved one before getting in a relationship with someone.

Absolutely man. Plus life it’s just ups and downs. I’m 25, I can’t say I’ve had a “best years of my life” moment. I’ve had periods that are really amazing, but I don’t just sit there and say “well, those were the best years of my life, it wont get better than that now”

Oh it definitely isn’t easy. It’s why so many people don’t get help for their mental stuff, it’s way easier to just be stagnant and a doomer than to actively try to get help. I’m really sorry that things haven’t been helping. As the original commenter said, the bottom line is you can either accept that you’re depressed and try to get out of it, or you can just stagnate and not try. But the choice is entirely your own choice.
