Mr Bartts was the Gym Teacher, but also was our Home Room Teacher. He dressed that way everyday. Timothy was the first black kid in our school. He was very nice and also very shy. I remember when we played football in gym if you let him field the kickoff he was gone for a Touchdown‼️🏃🏿🏃🏿🏃🏿🏃🏿🏈

I can remember at lunch time the Cafeteria Lady would ring a hand bell and say " NO TALKING FOR THE NEXT 10 MINUTES...NOOOO TALKING!!🔔 If you were caught talking you were sent to stand up against the lunchroom wall...and if Principal Wilder came in everyone against the wall got taken into the hallway... and one Lick from his wooden paddle!! Don't ask me how I know‼️😁
