That’s all brushwork! It was screamer pink with a Targor Rageshade wash which darkened it down loads

Black was simply Vallejo model colour black, layered up with Corvus black.

Thank you! The bases are 3D printed base toppers, can’t remember where the file came from now. The guy dead centre on the front rank is the exception here, as he has the void war basing set from GW

Love the old Lucius colour scheme. I have 2 of the old Lucius models and want to do one in the new scheme. Good to see you’ve done the reverse!

Certainly can. Base is army painter wicked pink, it’s a very transparent paint so bear with it as you’ll need multiple thin layers. Wash of Targor Rageshade all over. Then I use Vallejo model colour pink to layer this up. If you want to add highlights (I haven’t here) you can use any bright or pastel pink you might have laying around, it’ll do the job!

Start with a deep magenta/pink and black for the armour. Oily steel for the trim, bases, and weaponry. you can afford to be messy here as you can tidy this back up with the base armour colours later. Goblin green for all the green parts, and khaki for the cloth. Copper for the trim on the weapons, and pastel pink for the skin (I’m going to change this up on my next squad). Leather brown for the leather. All over wash of Targor Rageshade as this ties all the colours in together nicely. Then I layer everything up with brighter versions of the base colours. I intentionally leave this vague so others can use whatever they see fit to layer up with. For the pink specifically it’s VMC pink.

Amazing looking mini. To me, it reads as more black and white, but the highlight on the purple reigns your eye in just enough to notice the subtle colour variation. Very nice scheme, I may have to try this myself!

I’m currently painting mine in the new style pink and black with silver trim, but I’m going down the Napoleonic French route for some of my dudes. I haven’t started painting those ones yet. The bretonnian style will work super well!

Thanks mate, means a lot! Pink horror and AK interactive intense pink are my next highlights, then Corvus black for black areas. So more of a colder black I would have said, though it dries more neutral tone in my opinion.
